James, Kaysar, Howie, Janelle and Dr. Will have been some of the most talked about players on the web, most of them with their own sites and myspace profiles. Live chats have also been common; however, some of the houseguests, Dr. Will being one of them (although someone could have been poising as him- a common occurrence in online chatting that we should be careful of!) have acted poorly and made rude comments about other houseguests and fans. Could votes reflect peoples feelings regarding chat responses? Big Brother candidates should remember to stay somewhat classy! It is interesting to see how involved a fan can get online, and how relatively easy it is to speak to a houseguest using chat rooms, forums, and websites. To me, the easier it is to chat with the more I feel connected to that person- but at the same time, they seem less of a star... Remember when fans used to crowd the streets in hopes of catching a glimpse of their favorite TV stars?
I am waiting in anticipation to see how much fans will promote these houseguests, the wild stunts that the houseguests themselves will do to get votes....This show will bring self promotion and marketing to a whole new level chalked filled with online social networking!
