Big Brother Gets A New Timeslot
Due to a summer scheduling shuffle, the big wigs at CBS are moving the Saturday edition of our beloved Big Brother to Sunday nights. This move gives the a show viewership on vastly popular night and will also complement "The Amazing Race," which shifts to Sundays in the fall.
Big Brother will now air Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 8 p.m. First Sunday seg is set for July 16, with CBS using the night to shift "Cold Case" and "Without a Trace" to their new respective timeslots at 9 and 10 p.m. Sunday. Kahl said the fact that this year's "Big Brother" is an "all-star" edition also spurred the decision to move one night of the show to Sundays.
"We're trying to raise the profile of the show a little bit," he said. "It'll hopefully lift the Tuesday and Thursday airings as well."
