It is confirmed! CBS Big Brother 9 will have 14 Guests in the house with the theme “Dirty Little Secrets.” Show days are said to be Tues, Wed and Sundays this Winter, with elimination days happening on Wednesday instead of Thursday.
My guess is that it is going to be like Jerry Springer meets Big Brother. This spells out one word in my head… D-R-A-M-A! Also returning, are the Big Brother LiveFeeds!!!

For the last time this season, HELLO EVERYONE!! I still can't believe that 14 House Guests have already come and gone, and Dick Donato was crowned the winner. Expect the unexpected, indeed. :)
Dan has already done his Top 10 Best & Worst Moments of Big Brother 8, and I decided not to read them before I do my post, just to ensure that I am not influenced. :D

It’s hard to believe, but we have reached the end of the Summer and the end of another (and possibly the most!) explosive season of Big Brother. I have had a blast giving you your updates and recaps this season and cannot wait until next year to do it all over again : ) I thought it would be fitting to end the season with a Best and Worst article sure to elicit some laughs (and probably some disagreements as well!)
In my final article this year, I have a lot for you! First, I have Dan’s 10 best and 10 worst moments of Big Brother 8. Next, we’ll take a hilarious look back at my first impressions of each of the fourteen House Guests and whether or not they have changed with The House Guests: Then and Now. Finally, I have a supercharged, power packed final edition of House Calls Gossip where you will hear from Dick, Daniele, Zach and Eric about their thoughts and strategies and reactions after coming out of the house.
(Just as a warning, just like most of America, we here at MBB were split between being Jess/Eric (Jeric) fans and being Donato fans. I was a huge Jeric fan while Under Cover Brother was our resident Donato fan – see her finale article : ) While I do respect Dick’s win, Donato fans should be forewarned that I am critical of some of their game play in this article! Out of the two, I was happy to see Dick win, but I would have been ecstatic to have seen Jess or Eric win!)

Hello MBB readers! Tonight's finale lost a little mystic as one outcome was for certain... A Donato was going to win!
The Jury members were brought back to the house to vote, and Dick and Daniele finally got to see who gets to be the Head of Household in the Donato family, the title of Big Brother 8 Champion and the $500,000.

This is it - the Donatos' final day in the House!! And it's... well... as best as can be expected when an estranged father and daughter are forced to spend close to 80 days in close proximity! For my last (and not too terribly long!) Live Feeds update, (wait for it... wait for it...) READ ON!!!!
Hey everyone! This is my last re-cap... and, strangely, it is of a re-cap episode. Interesting. This show aired last night, but by the time it was over I was pretty tired... and, well, I am not going to lie: I was pretty bored as well. Re-cap episodes are notoriously annoying, but this one didn't even have any new revelations / twists / secrets / anything extra to make it extra-special.
For my take on it, and to see what was re-visited, read on!!
Well MBB readers, hard to believe but this is my final Live Feeds Update of Big Brother 8 (Little Brother will have THE final Live Feeds Update of the season tomorrow!) I have a rather subdued and calm update for you Donato wise. This update encapsulates the three hours BEFORE the two faced the jury. In this update, D/D are really bored and play an endless game of cards to pass the time, they eat some mac and cheese with taco meat, they do some more HG bashing and they sleep. Oh and Dick smokes about 5 cigs LOL and Dani applies her makeup and curls her hair in anticipation of the jury. I also have managed to get 2 Dick’s Quotable Quotes from this period of boredom.
I also have a HUGE spoiler section regarding the jury’s questioning of the Donatos for you. While BB opted NOT to show this on the feeds this year, the fallout once the feeds came back was evident. This spoiler section will reveal pretty much in the Donatos’ minds (and mine as well after hearing them talk about it), who will win Big Brother 8. So if you want to wait until Tuesday to know, don’t read the spoiler section!

MBB readers, I will say one thing about today’s Live Feeds Update, it’s a big old Dick fest (sorry, I couldn’t resist! LOL.) Dani is not feeling well tonight and after about the first 20 minutes of this update, she goes to bed and goes to sleep. But lest you think this update will be boring, you’re forgetting, we still have Dick! Dick talks to himself, to us, and to the camera men all night long and gives us some interesting things to talk about: One, he gives us his take on all 8 seasons of Big Brother, his favorite and least favorite HGs, and whether he thinks he has a shot at winning on Tuesday against Daniele.
Also, if you’re a Dick and Daniele conspiracy theorist, we have a very interesting tidbit for you that Dick let slip tonight: He and Daniele were finalists to be a secret pair in Season 6! You heard that right! And it came right from Dick’s mouth! You’ll have to read on for all the Dick fun LOL
The Donatos are our final 2! What have they been up to after winning this title? Well, lots of House Guest bashing for one! And if you think Dani would not complain about being in the final 2, think again! Dick and Dani play cards to pass the time. Dani has become obsessed with her hair! Dick destroys the BB trash can in the kitchen. Both of The Donatos wonder how Dick’s mother has responded to all of the inadvertent attention she has received and we have three, count em, three Dick’s Quotable Quotes for you today! (I’m sure we’ll have more over the next five days LOL)
Also, in this Live Feeds Update, we have the House Calls interview with BB guru/executive producer Allison Grodner. Allison gives us her insights into this season’s HGs as well as why she never has a favorite in any season! She also tells us the difference between “sharing” the money and giving “gifts.” Finally, Allison reluctantly concedes that America’s influence on Eric as America’s Player helped get the Donatos to the final two!
