Big Brother 8 Premiere : Live Chat! |

Hey everyone! It's less than 24 hours until we get to watch 14 new House Guests battle it out with their worst enemies, with a Puppet in their midst. I'm seriously going crazy with anticipation, here.
To celebrate the new season, the More Big Brother crew is hosting a live chat at 5pm PST (8pm EST), and 8pm PST (11pm EST), where we can all share our observations, theories, criticisms, predictions, rants, and raves in real time with each other. We've had thousands of people visit the site, and hundreds sign up on the message boards... so let's all get together and watch Big Brother 8!

Is CBS trying to tell us something? Has America's Player (a.k.a. the Puppet) been revealed, or was there simply a goof in editing and an alternate was accidentally shown?
As we come closer to the July 5th premiere of Big Brother 8, a new face suddenly appears in the mix of the 14 House Guests announced earlier this week.

This year's style is more simple and streamlined, and currently only has a few news feeds and Big Brother 8 House Guest bios for us to look at.

Julie Chen, the host of CBS Big Brother 8 appeared on the David Letterman show last night. She revealed
very little about the show, except for one of this Big Brother 8 season's twists!
Julie described the twist as what we like to call "America's Puppet", where America will be asked a question to determine what a house guest will do on the show.
For example, "Should America's House Guest
partake in a showmance?" There will be one house guest out of a total of 14 that will be controlled by the audience.
I'll be honest, I was a bit skeptical when I found out this year's Big Brother was to have an interactive twist, but this one sounds fun! We are the Puppet Masters!

Slop Returns & Grodner Promises A Fully Interactive Big Brother |

In an exclusive interview with TV Guide , Allison Grodner discusses some of the new features of the Big Brother 8 show and also comments on some of the previous rumors.
Slop or PB&J or Something New?: Slop or a slop like substance is here to stay. "After the success of slop last year, we've decided we're doing it
again. PB&J was like lobster compared to slop. They were living
life easy."
Will All-Stars return to be part of the show?: No More All-Star appearances. "We did All-Stars last year, and that was the best of the best and we
still love them. They did a great job. But we're starting with a clean
slate," says Grodner.
Will the Structure of the Show be different?: Allison confirms that the structure will remain the same simply because it works. There will still be an HOH that picks two players and the Power of Veto competitions will still happen - at least at the START of the show. Allison discusses the game further, "We can certainly amp things up and the competition is always
changing, there are new twists and turns, and come mid-season, there
may be another curveball.... But all of that just adds to the soap
opera and the competitive game elements."
What interactivity can we expect? Allison teases us in the interview with cliche lines like "its like nothing you have ever seen before!". "It will be revealed at the end of the first episode, and you can hop
on [the Internet] and get involved. I promise you, you've never heard
of an interactive opportunity like this on a television show, because
we're the only show — in the way that we are structured, being almost
live — that can pull this off."

On the CBS Early Show, Julie Chen revealed the new Big Brother 8 House guests and confirmed the "Enemy Twins Theory". This year looks to be an attractive household this year with most the cast being in their mid 20's.

After months of speculation, falsely-leaked casting lists, and
unanswered questions, CBS has finally broken their silence and released
the identities of the 14 people who will be locked away in the Big
Brother 8 house for the entire summer!
In addition to this, a few other pieces of information have been revealed:
- The twist for this season is that
some of the House Guests will be living with their "worst enemies" for
the summer. The jury is still out on this one, but we'll see how it
turns out;
- Big Brother 8 will be much more
interactive, with America determining some of the game's outcomes
through e-mail, telephone, and text messaging. The contestants will
have the chance to complete tasks based on viewer input, and can win
additional cash and prizes. This will bring to show closer to its
roots and increase the voyeur value for sure!

It looks like CBS is finally letting us in on some of the Big Brother
8 secrets - they could only stay silent for so long!
First, we were
shown the locations of the Big Brother 8 24hr Live Video Feed Cameras in the fantasy-themed guest house (which appears to have 14 portraits... therefore, 14 House Guests) and now we get to watch Julie Chen on David Letterman!
Thursday June 28th: Houseguests Revealed on CBS Early Show, and Julie Chen live on David Letterman.

So our rumors may be true... the big twist for Big Brother 8?? ENEMIES!!!
This means the high school scenario looks even more likely than ever!!! Also, there is a rumor going around that Julie Chen will be announcing the House Guests tomorrow on the Early Show?! We cannot confirm or deny this is going to happen. We can confirm, however, that Julie Chen will be on David Letterman tomorrow night!
Will the House Guests be revealed tomorrow???

MoreBigBrother thought it would be funny to play a "Wheres Waldo" game with the livefeed cameras while showing off the new, stylish Big Brother House. We also noticed that in the pictures it seems as though there will be 14 houseguests.

In Variety Magazine, it was stated that the viewers will be more
involved this year as the show promises to be more interactive.
What that actually means. we are not sure yet.
