How to get the best deal

This year, RealNetworks has partnered with CBS to offer customers a seemingly discounted version of their 24 hour live feeds. You may have seen the advertisements for a 3 month subscription priced at $39.99 which is only available through the CBS website. Although this offer seems like a great deal at first it’s actually $10 higher than the offer that we’re able to provide you here at More Big Brother! This chart should explain how and why.

How and when your credit card is billed

It should be noted that RealNetworks bills your credit card on the monthly anniversary of your free trial expiry. MoreBigBrother was able to confirm this directly with RealNetworks. For example, if you register for the 14 day free trial on July 7th (Big Brother 7 Premiere - Day 1) your credit card will be charged on July 21st assuming you want to keep the service. If you do keep the SuperPass service, your card will be charged on the 21st of each consecutive month until you cancel. Assuming Big Brother 7 ends on September 20th like it did last year, this means you only need to pay for 2 months of service in order to see Big Brother 7 through to it's completion. Again our price chart will explain how.

Canadians and RealNetworks customer service

RealNetworks does allow both Americans and Canadians to purchase the 24/7 live feeds; however, all credit card transactions will be billed in US dollar currency. Here is a currency conversion site to help you calculate the difference. We have also provided some information for RealNetworks customer service here incase you have any questions or you need to cancel your SuperPass subscription. 

RealPlayer vs SuperPass – what’s the difference?

We all know that only RealNetworks provides 24/7 live feeds for Big Brother All Stars. However, what people don’t often realize is that the 24/7 live feeds are delivered through software called RealPlayer which is a free download . In order to get the live feed, you need both the RealPlayer software and a subscription to SuperPass which you login to through the RealPlayer. SuperPass is the entertainment service that contains the Big Brother 7 Allstars live feed. Therefore, when you register for the Big Brother live feeds, you’re paying for the content and not the software - don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise!
