Big Brother 7 All-Stars Premiere - RED HOT!!! |
Big Brother 7 All Stars opened with a bang tonight, as Julie revealed there would be 14 houseguests this time around. The top 4 men and 4 women from internet voting were allowed in the house as well as 6 favorites hand-picked by CBS from previous seasons. In a surprise twist, Season 7 will have two Head of Households! Both HoH's must agree on which two people to nominate for eviction. If they can't come to agreement, they are essentially nominating themselves for the chopping block! Janelle and Jase are the first HoH's for this season of Big Brother.
Julie Chen announced the winners of the CBS voting tonight. Because the votes were so close, CBS decided to let the top 4 most voted men and women into the house. This included: Howie, Kaysar, James and Jase we're voted in on the men's side while Janelle, Erika, Nakomis and Diane rounded out the women. The Big Brother Producer's picks could have easily been predicted- Alison and Danielle for Drama (which they proved right away once in the house), Chicken George most likely because of his crazy campaign antics and the need for someone from Big Brother 1, Marcellas for his certain flare and Dr. Will for his pure evilness. The biggest surprise out of this announcement was that Julie announced Mike Boogie making the men to women ratio lopsided.
Janelle was not surprised that she got in the house- she was also the first HOH, and appears to be aligned with James, Howie and Kaysar. Howie- played low key- and was excited to see "so many all star boobies in the house" this year. When Erika, Janelle, Nakomis and Diane walked into the room with one large bed (their room) Erika decided it was good because she could keep her enemies close and Nakomis thought that she was surrounded by big gorgeous girlie girls. Diane doesn't think Erika should be in the house because she did nothing on the show; she is also trying hard to resist getting into another relationship in the house. We all saw-her eyes are on Dr. Will though so we'd better look out. Will and Mike Boogie want to hurt Kaysar badly and think he is too cocky. James quoted to CBS cameras that" Will is like batman, and Mike is like Robin"- it will be important to break that alliance fast. Chicken George seems as though he may be fried chicken soon. Its apparent that Chicken George knows his fate. When he was awarded entry he proclaimed that "me making it here was like a donkey winning the Kentucky Derby". He is by far the oldest and the oddest houseguest and doesn't quite fit into the scene. Dr. Will says in three weeks he will re-circulate his wires and you will see a different person and really see how evil he can get. Alison says "why me and why her" referring to Erika who was also upset that they were both in the house again (Alison evicted Erika in BB4).
The game began right away with no time to get settled for the 14 houseguests. The first alliance factor seemed to be with former Big Brother 6 houseguests Janelle, Howie, Kaysar and James. Immediately the houseguests from previous seasons, invoked by Danielle and Alison, began scheming counter alliances to break the power of the BB6 group. It was announced in a surprise twist that there would be two HOH this season. The first competition involved a game where the men and women took turns standing on revolving pedestals. Two groups were formed and asked to try to knock out their counterparts with a big rock-shaped sponge that they called a meteor.
Here is how the strategy unfolded
Howie knocked off by Nakomis
Janelle knocked off Erika
Nakomis knocked off James (all 120 pounds of her)
Danielle knocks off Marcellas in her second turn
Howie knocks off Nakomis
Mike knocks off Kaysar
Jase knocks off Alison (but was aiming for janelle)
Erika knocks off George and actually hurt him! (Erika" killed the chicken")
The last contestants left standing were Janelle and Jase both from different seasons of Big Brother and in an event filled day we were not left without slander and surprise.
Danielle took the first move to stir up trouble in the house. She started talking to Allison about a counter alliance to overthrow the Big Brother 6 HOH's. Alison figured that she could convince Jase to go against Janelle and cause a stalemate on who is voted onto the block. Danielle, a true shit disturber started causing huge problems- her biggest mistake was saying she was going to tell Janelle about the plans and that she would not reveal to Alison if she would for sure vote for Jase. If she would have been firm and transparent she might have actually got somewhere. No one likes to align with someone who is openly playing games! She also seems to hold quite a grudge against Marcellas saying ""Marcellas can kiss my booty - I'm not talking to him" to which Marcellas replied ""I am Americas black gay sweetheart".
James was scheming with Kaysar, Howie and Janelle until he was interrupted by Jase who was going to talk to Janelle with Alison in the HOH bedroom. Alison turned back when Jase entered the room only to find the BB6 crew. Things probably would have ended up much different if Jase and Alison could have talked to Janelle alone. Jase then had a heart to heart with Alison saying that he would for sure put himself up for elimination. But if we learned anything from Marcellas, which he obviously did, its never give up your own power on someone else's word! The plan back-fired and Alison and Danielle are both now on the chopping block to be the first one eliminated from Big Brother All Stars.
Jase himself is playing the game right. He is already playing both sides and doing it looking very trustworthy- although that could backfire on him too. Even James said he trusted him more than Howie and Kaysar.
When Janelle and Jase started handing out keys Danielle knew she was in trouble. Dr. Will was almost positive that he would be up for eviction. Janelle announced that Danielle and Alison, the only two who did not receive keys, were up for nomination. Janelle also told the group the reason why they were up for elimination was because they were already too hard core into the game. Dr. Will is the only winner in the house and he openly stated that he thinks people should be gunning for him. In fact in a one on one interview he told CBS cameras that he was utterly stunned when he wasn't put up for eviction and he thinks both Jase and Janelle are silly because of it.
