Boo hoo Matt! The first thing Julie tells us tonight is that Matt has been reduced to tears and boy did we get to see them. All he did tonight was cry! He cried about how unfair it was that he was on the block, he cried to James about promising his mom he would give her a "prize" when he won, he cried to all the girls in the house trying to get a pity vote that would keep him in the house by telling them that he didn't want to be alone on his birthday. I think he is more of a cry baby than Sheila!
Matt also conveniently forgot that the whole reason he was put on the block was for lying to James about being the third vote. He seems to be pretending that never happened. Instead he states in the DR that the house "fears him" and that that is the reason he is on the block. Yes Matty, the HG's look like they are shaking in their boots!
Did you miss it? Catch everyone going on in the house with the CBS.com 24/7 live feeds this week!
Matt's biggest problem is too little too late. While crying to Sharon and James they let on that they feel sorry for him, while both laugh behind his back in the DR. However, after talking to Adam Matt quits walking around depressed and starts campaigning to stay. He somehow convinces Sheila that he is the good guy, after all he has never done anything to her, and that Ryan has screwed everyone in the house over. But can he convince Chelsia and Sharon too? Matt pushed everyone into a corner as he starts bullying them to vote for him. No one can give them their word which upsets him. He states in the DR that he can't understand why no one will promise him their votes.
Sheila even tried to campaign for him with James. She pointed out that Matt has three votes with her, Adam and Josh and that if Chelsia or Sharon don't change their vote then it will be a tie that James will have to break. Sheila tries her best to convince James that Ryan is the bad guy. This whole time though I was thinking that if it was a tie-breaker that James would be STUPID to keep Matt. He would have surely had Matt and Natalie teaming up to come after him this week. What also struck me is that everyone seemed to know that Josh was going to vote for Matt to leave the house, but no one seemed to question his loyalty and alliance to Ryan...hmmmm.
The HG's have some interesting comments when it comes to who needs to leave:
Josh: Josh states that he and Ryan have an alliance, and that he thinks he is a trustworthy guy
Adam: Thinks it is a mixed decision, thinks he can trust Matt but has been friends with Ryan since day one
Natalie: States that Matt has been her partner since day one and that he is the only one she trusts
Chelsia: Wants Matt out because he tries to be the puppet master and is trying to rule everyone
Sharon: Wants Ryan to stay because she doesn't believe that he is going to personally blow up on her
Sheila: She doesn't want to make the decision. She wants James to make the ultimate choice.
Before the vote Julie chats with the HG's. She asks James how he justifies promising to not put Matt up after he claimed that your word is all you have. He points out that what he did was use the POV to do a back door move, replacing Sheila with someone who deserved to be on the block. Natalie calls him a hypocrite and states that his word means nothing.
Julie then asks the HG's who thought Allison was in the box. Sheila, Josh and Natalie raised their hands. Julie informs the very shocked HG's that it was indeed Alex in the box. After they get over that she asks who, if they had known it was Alex, would have voted for him over James. Sheila, Ryan, Matt and Natalie all fess up that they would, which Julie points out as "interesting" because that vote would have been a tie.
Finally we got to the live vote! With all the talk of a tie breaker this week, even though the vote was live, it wasn't really a surprise. What was a surpise was Natalie saying it was a hard decision!
Chelsia - Matt
Josh - Matt
Sharon - Matt
Natalie - Ryan
Adam - Ryan
Sheila - Ryan
Julie invited James to make the final vote and with very little through James voted out Matt. Matt Natalie were brought to tears. Matt gave her a hug, hugged the rest of the house, shook James hand, and then pushed Natalie away as she tried to hug him all the way the door. I was forced to chuckle. While talking to Julie Matt admits he is devestated and that he thought he had the votes, but he guesses he didn't. He tells Julie that Natalie will make someone a great wife one day, but that they are just friends. However, in her goodbye message when Natalie says that she still thinks Matt may be her soulmate, he gets choked up. Julie congratulates Matt on becoming the first member of the jury...let the games begin!
The HoH is another quick, live Q&A competition that BB called "En Garde". In a nutshell the HG's were paired off and had to answer a "Who said it" question about evicted HG's. If you answer and get it right you pick the next two competitors. If you get it wrong you are out of the competition. If no one answers you are both out. The competition stacked up like this:
Chelsia and Josh
Question: Which HG declared, "We are the power couple...?"
Result: Josh picked Jen, but the answer was Parker. Josh was out, Chelsia picked Natalie and Sheila
Natalie and Sheila
Question: Which HG stated, "This is Big Brother. We decided to make our own rules, we can be anyone we want in this house."
Result: Natalie picked Allison and was correct. Sheila was out, Natalie picked Chelsia and Sharon
Chelsia and Sharon
Question: Which HG stated: If Allison reveals the secret she will screw up my game that that will really, really really piss me off."
Results: Chelsia picked Jen and was correct. Sharon was out, Chelsia picked Adam and Natalie
Adam and Natalie
Question: Which HG said, "You can not trust a kid with a pink mohawk."
Results: Adam picked matt and was correct. Natlie was out, Adam picked Ryan and Chelsia
Ryan and Chelsia
Question: Which HG said, "I decided to tell people in the household that I worked for a company rather than owned a company."
Results: Chelsia picked Alex and was correct. Last question was between Chelsia and Adam.
Chelsia and Adam
Question: Which female HG said, "I think I am stuck in a love..."
Results: Adam picked Amanda was correct and won HoH
Not only was everyone happy for Adam but the house seemed genuinely shocked that he won. Everyone congratulated him and I swear I thought I heard him ask James if he was happy. We all definitely need to stay tuned to the CBS.com 24/7 live feeds to see what happens next with James and Adam. Afterwards, when asked what he was looking forward too the most in his HoH room Adam stated that he wanted to see pictures of his mom, his brother and his dog. Woof!
Julie promised us excitement on Tuesday night with the return of Dick in a wake up call the house is not expecting! Get the CBS.com 24/7 live feeds to see what happens before next Tuesday and look for my next post for the latest on Evel Dick and his daughter Daniele.
