Tuesday night's show recap |
My oh my. How CBS does this year after year just amazes me. It brings out the best and worst in people and this year is no exception. The show must go on and believe me, it will!
I have to be honest with you and say that I missed the first 10 minutes of the show but it was all action as I turned on the TV. James and Natalie were at it and it was so BIG that it brought James to tears. No wonder, after 8 weeks of relentless playing and non stop action, James CRACKED! He was standing alone against everybody and there was no Chelsia to keep him company which made it even worst! He was really mad at Sheila about something as well but as I said I missed the first 10 minutes of the show so I’m not quite sure why. Adam pretty much summed it up perfectly by saying: “It sucks for you dude” commenting on the fact that it is no secret that everybody wants James out of the house.
James started crying and he really showed another side that we (and everybody that knows James personally) haven’t seen… ever! He even admitted that it was the first time that he has cried since his father died. That is pretty dramatic and shows how much the game means to him personally and emotionally.
The VETO competition was next and it was one of those mind benders. First to fall out was Josh and Sharon and it was between Sheila, Ryan and James to fight it out. James was fighting for his life and he admitted that this game was more like playing Poker than knowing your numbers or remembering anything. It was about playing the opposition and that is exactly what James did. Twice in the game Ryan had a closer answer that would have meant that James would have lost the game. Both times James decided to stay and Ryan decided to fold which meant that James got closer to VETO. In the final round James was very lucky to guess closer than Ryan and by doing so won VETO. Man, was he excited to win it!
Seeing James win VETO was like your worst nightmare come true for the rest of the House Guests. They all showed that straight away. Josh admitted that seeing James win was like “going to your own funeral”. What a DRAMA QUEEN! Josh acted like it was the end of the world and sat in his room and cried like a girl who was stood up at the prom. Then of course Sharon joined in on the Bawl Fest. THEN Sheila joined the show and shared in the tears…Too much for me!
Josh, being the ultimate BB player, went straight to the HOH room. The way the show was edited, it made it look like Josh was making deal with Natalie to get Sharon voted off AT THE EXACT SAME TIME Sharon was crying in the bathroom with Sheila consoling her, reminding her that “Josh loves you and only wants to see you succeed in this game”…yeah right! I think this situation proved that in the game of Big Brother you may THINK you know somebody, but really they are just there to play the game and will basically stab their best friend in the back to win.
Josh’s strategy to stay in the game was to try to get two votes from Ryan and James. Then Natalie will put Sharon on the block and Adam and Sheila will vote for Sharon. Natalie will be the breaking vote for Josh so that Sharon will end up being the one who goes home but that Sharon won’t know what hit her or who it was who voted her off because it won’t be a 5-all. Natalie, Josh and Ryan also promised each other that they will keep each other in the game “for at least two more weeks”. After this Josh got both Ryan and James to promise him their votes (yeah right…we’ll see!). As we all know the lying game will come out now and I predict that Josh will go to any length to stay in the game. He had that evil glint in his eyes this episode and I don’t think he’s going to go without a fight!
At the end of tonight’s episode, the VETO meeting brought no surprises. James saved himself from being eliminated from the house for the THRID TIME and he let everyone know exactly how proud of himself he is. He then gave an awesome speech, stating that he is the ultimate player and for anyone to beat him they’ll have to take him out during competition. He also challenged each and every player to bring their ultimate game to the table and to start competing like they want to win the game. He reminded everyone that they are there to play a game and if they don’t start putting on their game face then when it comes time to be put on the block they won’t stand a chance! Fair play James, you are the man and you will live to see another week! Well done and may the smartest, strongest and best poker player be the last man (or woman) standing!
