Tonights episode was really a bit dull. I guess I was expecting more fireworks, but maybe the editing just cut it out. They didn't even let us in on the fact that there is already sex going on in the house! Maybe wanting to keep some people looking "pure and innocent" a little longer?
After the celebration of Amanda and Alex winning HoH, it cut to a shot of Chelsia saying that she was really happy they won it, at first. That is until she realized that Amanda would be walking around in her short shorts making sure everyone knew she was the princess all week long. Chelsia seems a bit perturbed over that thought. Later on however Chelsia had a change of heart regarding Amanda as Amanda let the tears flow when she confided in some of the house about why she was always so "happy". She told the story of how her father killed himself after leaving her a voicemail saying that she was never there when he needed her and how she thinks that if she would have answered he would not of done it. She then quickly says that she knows it wasn't her fault, and says how she would rather die with everyone talking about what a "great person" she is. Is this true or just a story to get people to feel indeared to her?
Speaking of missing fathers, we find out that Alex's dad has also died, one of the victims of 9/11. When Amanda and Alex are given the key to the HoH bedroom he opens a bag and pulls out a piece of steel shaped like a cross and breaks down telling everyone it is from the towers. Alex says that he would give up everything he has been given if he could have just one conversation with his dad. For some reason I believe Alex more than I do Amanda. Maybe this is strategy between the two of them?
Jen has the BIGGEST mouth in the house this season. First she feels the NEED to tell Parker that her and Ryan live together. This leads to Ryan telling Allison and Allison freaking out because she is not sure she can keep the secret. Then when the house is looking at the pictures on the wall Jen becomes cocky and states that her picture is first because of course she is going to win. This not only aggravates the whole house but it angers Parker too who is afraid that he is going to get evicted because of Jen's big mouth.
This whole time Allison is feeling very weird about the whole foursome. Tells Parker that Jen is the last person in the house that she would have aligned herself with. She then tells Ryan how she feels and Ryan assures her that it is all them and that he would not choose Jen over Allison in the house since they are partners. Allison says that she isn't sure she can trust Ryan....well duh!
Meanwhile Parker and Jen come up with a plan to "play Allison" before she can play them. They decide to tell the house about Jen and Ryan's relationship. Parker starts off telling Alex and Matt and tells them how pissed he is about it. They don't buy it though. How fast Parker forgets waking everyone up at 4am to find out if someone was keeping a secret. The boys who admit they have fast become best friends in the house, tell the cameras that they don't believe Parker and that him not telling people sooner put him in trouble.
Parker and Jen then go tell another group including Amanda and Natalie who are in shock over it all. At the same time Matt is confronting Allison who is pissed that they decided to tell the house and that her partner didn't even warn her it was coming. She confronts Jen who says that they knew she would let the cat out of the bag so they just decided to beat her to it. Allison swears that she wouldn't have said anything which Jen doesn't believe. Sheila walks in, is told the "secret" and says that Allison would not tell her until she "left the house", even though Sheila tried to get it out of her.
When Joshuah and Neil are told out by the pool they decide that they want to know if anyone else in the house knows each other and come up with a plan to have everyone swear on the Bible. Amanda calls everyone for a house meeting where they all swear while someone points out that many of them are just swearing on words because they aren't even religious.
After the Bible ceremony Sheila and Allison are talking and come up with a plan. The REAL secret twist in the house is that they are going to be lesbian lovers. Lucky Joshuah is the first to walk in and the person they opt to tell this "secret" too. Joshuah must think that he had his "gaydar" switched to the off position because he "never picked up on any of the signs". He quickly goes to tell his partner Neil and tells him that he thinks it is true.
While Joshuah is blabbing to Neil Sheila and Allison are telling Chelsia all about their secret romance. Chelsia is so happy for them and says that "they are in love, it is adorable!". In the diary room Allison later states that this idea could definitely work to her and sheilas benefit and that is is a "power move".
While Allison had her fair share of airtime this evening on the shower, Adam and Sheila continued to get their 15 minutes of fame. At one point before everyone goes to bed James tells Jen that Adam is known as the "hooded warrior". Jen wants to know why and when she asks Adam informs the house that he is not circumcised. Jen is freaked and wants to see it...to which she says it is weird. Adam states that he "let her see it but didn't give her the one-on-one how-to operate it." Sheila makes a comment that of all the men in the house, she is the one stuck with the uncircumcised one.
Later the next day while outside Sheila is griping and complaining to Parker within earshot of Alex and Matt about how awful Adam is. She stated that she is at risk of going home because Adam is weak and Parker tells her she needs to get over it.
A glimpse into Alex in the diary room and we hear him say how Sheila is abusive to Adam and is always making fun of him. Outside we hear Alex telling Sheila that Adam is not the one going around and talking crap like she is. Sheila states, "I am not talking crap about him...I am with idiot over there..." Nice move Sheila! Adam comes over and WWIII breaks out between the two of them. I would tell you what was said, but unfortunately I can't. Most of it was silenced by CBS so that it could be shown on TV.
Before the nomination ceremony Ryan is hopeful that Sheila and Adam's fight will mean good things for him, but is also blaming Allison for digging a grave for them. Amanda lets the viewers in on the fact that her and Alex have to agree on who to nominate or else they will be nominated and the second place pair in the HoH competition will get to act as HoH.
The nomination ceremony occurs and it seems like Amanda and Alex were in agreement. The safe pairs names were pulled in this order: Sheila and Adam, James and Chelsia, Matt and Natalie, and Joshuah and Neil. That leaves Ryan and Allison on the block with Parker and Jen. No real surprise. Also of no real surprise is Jen stating that all she cares about is getting the $500,000 and if that means that Ryan has to go, so be it. It is clear where her motivation lies. Jen walks of crying in Parker's arms while we heard Alex say that he can not wait to see Ryan and Jen campaign against each other in the house.
