Okay, I know I said that I kind of didn’t mind Amanda.  I may have even said that I “liked” her.  But I really have to say how HAPPY I am that she’s been evicted.  That high pitched voice of hers and the non-stop sucking up to the other house guests while talking about them behind their backs was really getting on my nerves.  Now that she’s out of the house we can finally have some peace and quiet!  No more “bueno” this and “bueno” that!  No more hypoglycemic fits and complaining about everything in the house.  No more romping around in her tight little short shorts (okay, I didn’t really mind those!).  Hasta La Vista Amanda, you WON’T be back!

 

Of course with the eviction of Amanda came the eviction of Alex.  I’m going to miss him a bit just because he wasn’t half as annoying as all the other HG’s left in the Big Brother house.  Although he was a bit quiet, he still made some really good points and always had interesting things to say (like when he told Amanda that he thought they shouldn’t ‘see’ other people on the show if the two of them weren’t going to hook up.  Very well thought out I must say!).  Anyway, gonna miss you brother.

Well, enough of the sappy stuff.  After Wednesday night’s show ended with the new HOH being elected, which of course was Josh and Sharon, two more couples had to be chosen to be on the block for next Wednesday’s eviction show.  The lucky couples chosen were Matt and Natalie (for the second time!) and Ryan and Allison (for the second time as well…this time maybe for the last?).  With Josh and Sharon as HOH it will be interesting to see what happens.  Josh has a lot of influence on people but doesn’t have a vote on Wednesday.  Maybe he will just play neutral in order to protect himself from being elected once it comes time for him to be put on the block.  However we have seen some pretty crazy outbursts from Josh so we’ll see if he will be able to hold his tongue with all the power in his hands.  Sharon, please help him!

 

Today saw another food competition and it had a bit of a twist.  Everybody had to dress in leotards inspired by trees and leaves (???).  The aim of the game was to guess the weight of specific food items and also the weight of their fellow house guests.  The prize was to win food for the entire week…no slop!  Everyone competed together so this was a real team effort.  This was a good way to get the competitors bonding again and also for CBS to make sure that nobody dies from any more food allergies (do we smell an impending lawsuit?).
