Ryan's Revenge (Sunday 3/9 recap)

120x240 square.gifThe show everyone has been waiting for since Wednesday nights live eviction of Allison is finally here! It what is being considered the biggest turn of events in BB history Ryan won HoH, is playing for himself, and is out to win the game. Go Ryan (just don't share the money with Jen!)

Everyone in the house seemed happy that Ryan won HoH after the competition except the two people that put him on the block, Sharon and Joshuah. They both thought that because of them putting him on the block, that he would turn around and put them on the block against each other. Sheila is also afraid that she will go on the block now that her and Adam are no longer partners. I think she must have realized that it was Adam keeping her in the house!

Don't miss all the house action with the CBS.com live feeds, 24/7!

Matt is ecstatic about the "no more couples" twist from Wednesday night. He tells Natalie that she can not sleep with him anymore. She thinks that it is reverse psychology and that he really WANTS her sleeping in there. He insists he doesn't, she insists he does...it is like a broken record.

Chelsia feels awkward around James. They went from playing together to playing against each other and she isn't knowing how to handle it. James tells her that he has fallen for her and she seems to feel the same way, but she says that she doesn't think it is a good idea, strategically of course, for them to share a bed anymore. They both agree though that it would be awesome if they could get to the final two together and that they will not stab each other in the back.

adamnatbibleNow picture this, Natalie sitting cross legged on the couch reading scripture from Joshua about how what comes out of a mans mouth is what makes that man unclean. She tells Adam that she thinks Joshuah and his mouth is going to come back and bite him in whole on the other end of his body. Joshuah meanwhile is in the jacuzzi praying and apologizing to God for all the awful and mean things he has said and done in the house. Once he is done apologizing he asks God for a sign that he is going to win the game. He makes it clear that he doesn't expect a six-pack but that a flatter stomach would be nice. He then tries to bargain with God by promising him that the will tithe 10% of the $500,000 if he is to win.

Ryan's HoH room is everything he wanted complete with pictures of his family and a few of him and Jen. He states how much he misses her. While others, like Chelsia, see Ryan as a "single man in the house" now, he makes it pretty clear that his heart and alliances still belong to Jen. Awe...how sweet.

Now, Sheila was very upset and was crying at times in tonight's show. But what else is new right? This time she was crying and whining about the fact that it upsets her that Allison is gone (even though she did vote for her), and how Allison was the only one she trusted. She tells Adam that she has nothing in common with the other women in the house and she thinks that they will be coming after her. She asks Adam to have her back to which he responds, "We will see what happens." It doesn't sound too promising for Sheila!

Ryan and Matt talked and put the past behind him. Ryan doesn't see the need to hold a grudge against Matt and knows that he voted for him just because of Allison. Ryan and Matt discuss setting up a team of 3 or 4 to include them, Adam and James. Adam and James join the conversation and seem all for it, however in the diary room James tells America that he doesn't feel comfortable forming an alliance with anyone right now because the game keeps changing. Later in the HoH room the 4 men discuss strategy on who to put up on the block. Sharon seems like a sure bet, however Sheila, Chelsia and James are all in danger for this nomination.

300x250 square.gifBefore the food competition we are shown a clip of Natalie and Ryan counting the blocks in the hamster cage. There are 27 blocks which Natalie states matches the number of letters in the alphabet. Ryan points out that there are only 26 letters in the alphabet. Natalie begins to count on her fingers and does good till she gets to the end, "...x, y, AND, z". Then she laughs and realizes that "and" is not a letter in the alphabet. Watching this scene I begin thinking that BB really wanted us to think that Natalie was stupid. When the food competition came along it was obvious that her error would be tied into the event.

The food competition consisted of chocolate, and LOTS of it. The contestants had to split into two teams, slide down a latter into a pool of chocolate, pick up letters and form (food) words with those letters. The team that formed the most words that were spelled correctly would get to eat all the food they spelled, while the other team ate slop. The teams consisted of:

Fon-tastics - Joshuah, Sharon, Chelsia, and Sheila
Won-due-fuls - James, Matt, Adam and Natalie

As HoH Ryan did not have to play. Both teams started off with a roar. Natalie swore that she was a good speller to which Matt (I believe) pointed out that she didn't even know the number of letters in the alphabet. The Won-due-fuls got off to a little bit of lead when Natalie spelled "Sushi" before Chelsia could spell "Beef". The Won-Due-Fuls kept it up with words like "Beef, Meats, Yogurt, Beans" and "Rice" before Matt couldn't find the piece of chalk which gave the Fon-tastics a huge chance to catch up. The Fon-tastics spelled words like "Meat, Milk, Bread, Chicken, Yogurt" and "Turkey" before the clock ran out. In the end it was the Won-due-fuls that won with 12 words spelled correctly to the Fon-tastics 11.

After the food competition Joshuah tries to save himself by telling Ryan that he was only nominated because of Allison and that if Joshuah gets HoH he will have his back. Ryan seems to believe him. Josh seems to feel better later on as they show him dancing around the house while he admires himself in all the mirrors.

The nomination ceremony is a bit painful for the two nominees and probably a bit surprising for one. Ryan brought out the wheel and the house guests that are safe are: Adam, Natalie, James, Matt, Sheila, and Joshua. That left Sharon and Chelsia on the block. Ryan told the women that it was nothing personal, but that they were both very smart and very strong competitors. They seemed to accept this although I am not sure that Chelsia expected it. She said that she thinks she can count on James to have her back, but she really can't be sure of anything and is playing for herself now. Sharon says that she is a fighter and will do whatever it takes to win.

Watch the CBS.com live feeds to see what happens with the POV competition and ceremony before the show on Tuesday night!
