New Big Brother Writer Romi |
 Howdy from Dallas, TX everyone! My name is Romi and I am a huge, huge, HUGE Big Brother fan! I am going to be your third and the best looking (although that may be argued by the others) of the trio that will be bringing you all the gossip and recaps from the Big Brother house! A little about me, I am a full time mom and live in the heart of the city. Dallas is great because while the city itself is big and hopping, if you want some peace and quiet all you have to do is drive 30 minutes in any direction and you will be in the country. My daughter is a BB fan as well so watching it is a real family event in this house. I look forward to spending the next few months with all of you! Read on to hear my FIRST opinions about last nights show!
 The first show tonight was great. Seeing Sharon's face when Jacob walked in was classic, and you just knew that they had to be paired up. She is so angry and pissed off still about him cheating on her that the internal drama between that couple will be sure to keep the show exciting for as long as they are on. Being the romantic at heart that I am, I do hope that they patch things up. However, being on the side of the woman scorned I can completely feel, sympathize and understand her pain and anger.
Sheila and Adam, what an "odd couple". If they played it right they might actually have been able to go far, but I think that they will be the first couple out. They could have hated each other but still played under the radar. However Sheila is too stuck on herself and Adam seems to be missing a few screws...
Speaking of hardware...or rather nuts and bolts...who is the transvestite? Is there really a transvestite? Could one of the two openly gay guys be the transvestite? I think that is too obvious. I think it is going to be either someone who is in the house in drag, or someone who is playing as their natural born self and is just keeping the secret.
My initial thought from pictures alone is that it is Chelsia. Also, besides pictures, most transvestites have uncommon names, they want to be remembered. Chelsia is the most uncommon of all the girls names in the house. However, after meeting everyone there are a few other options.
Even though he is paired up with Chelsia, James strikes me as being gay. He is a little funky and is biking around the world for a cause. There is nothing wrong with this, it just doesn't strike me as being something most straight guys would be into. Most straight guys don't have a sensitive bone in their body, and certainly not enough sensitive bones to live penniless and rely on the kindness of others. I wouldn't be surprised if he was moonlighting as "Sasha" as he travels around the country on his bicycle. Wouldn't be too hard to roll up a wrinkle free dress in his backpack....
Being paired with Chelsia, who is playing as a woman (if James is gay) would make Chelsia the ideal pick for a transvestite since one would assume that James' soul mate would not be a woman.
My only other thought is Amanda. There is just something about her. Did you see how uncomfortable she looked when Julie was telling the house guests about them being paired up with their perfect match? Everyone else looked shocked...she looked like she wanted to sink into the couch she was sitting on and fade away. In my opinion she is more "handsome" than pretty...I wouldn't be terribly shocked if she ended up the transvestite.
Nothing spectacular at this point about the other pairs. Jen and Ryan are both very uncomfortable considering they are watching the person that they believe is their soul mate, groping another man/woman. Neither of them have thought that maybe they are NOT soul mates and what the ramifications of this realization may have on their relationship. Everyone else in the house is kind of just fading into the back ground at this point.
One last thought I had....what is Matt's connection to Allison. They both live in Massachusetts, just a hop, skip and a jump from each other. BB is known for throwing in a twist midway through the game...he might be 5 years younger than her...but I bet they are married! Boy, that would throw a huge kink in the whole "soul mate" theme now wouldn't it!
Who do I think will win it all? I would love to see Sharon and Jacob go all the way, get the money and live happily ever after. I would never take back my ex who cheated on me, but then we were definitely NOT soul mates! Do I think they will win it? No. I think they will work well together and if they make the right alliances could go far, but I think if they don't work out their personal issues that eventually the drama will be too much for the house to handle and they will both be evicted.
I think it will be either Alex and Amanda, Matt and Natalie or even possibly Joshuah and Neil. These three teams, so far, seem to be the three that are completely drama free and can just slide right under the radar while they make their way to the top.
