Well everyone is happy in the BB house. Well maybe everyone but Sheila and Ryan! Sheila makes it clear that she knows being on the block is not going to be any fun, but hopes that those she thinks has her back really does. Ryan and Sheila then talk and laugh about the fact that so many people in the house lied to James' face, but that they are the two up on the block. Ryan states that this is the worst case scenario and Sheila comments that they both need a miracle. Did they get one? Well if you have already subscribed to the CBS.com 24/7 live feeds you would already know that answer! For those that haven't subscribe now so you don't miss all the excitement during this next week!
This show focused a lot on Adam. Much more so than the last several weeks. Does this mean anything? That remains to be seen. We got an other episode of the Bible Buddies where Matt, Adam and Ryan discussed the 10 Commandments, the Holy Grail and the possiblity of going to find them, where ever it is that they have been hidden. Adam who seems to be the only one of the three that really knows anything about the Bible tells him that finding it would be impossible and would cost more money than they have, even if they won the game.
Then Adam walks outside and Sheila stops him. She kisses his ass repeatedly by telling him how sorry she is about how mean she was to him and how she never wanted to hurt him. She says that his actions the past few weeks have shown her the type of guy he is. He is pretty quiet and she later says in the DR that she is pretty sure that she has his support.
In another part of the backyard James, Chelsia, Natalie and Josh are talking about how this could be the worst week ever for Ryan. They also talk about that mysterious third vote and James makes it clear that he wants to find out who gave it. Natalie goes in the house and talks to Sharon trying to convince her that Matt is an okay guy and that he voted for James to come back in. Sharon plays along but states in the DR that Natalie is a terrible liar. Right before that Natalie admits in the DR that she is lying to the house trying to protect Matt.
While walking around Josh notices that the guinea pig has new toys, 3 blocks of different colors that spell out POV. The house seems to focus on the fact that the blocks are different colors more than they do the competition. Natalie is very forceful with the fact that Sheila needs to study the blocks and try to figure out what the game is. She is so adament about it that Sheila starts worrying if she really has the votes in the house from Adam, Natalie or Matt that she thinks she has.
Sheila goes to bed stressed and crying, only to be woken up by a practical joke played on her by the house. The whole house knows how upset she is about being on the block and how she knows she needs to win. After talking a lot of smack about Sheila the house decides to make her think the POV comp is starting right now. She stumbles out of bed, makes it outside, and waits for James to come out. When he does and he tells them that he was told to wait for further instructions Sheila quickly figures out that she was the brunt of the joke and is able to laugh about it wtih the rest of the house.
The next morning though many of the HG's do crawl out of bed just in time for the POV competition. The six people playing this week are James, Ryan, Sheila, Matt, Chelsia and Josh.
The game? To walk along balance beams in a giant guinea pig like are moving blocks two at a time from a box to a tube. There are over 500 blocks and the winner of the game will be announced when someone gets all their blocks and a POV symbol from one side of the beams to the other, without falling off or dropping a block. If you drop a block or fall off the beam you are out of the competition.
Matt is the first one out of the game. He admits that he didn't throw the competition, but he also admits that he didn't try very hard. Sheila knows she must win and is very focused throughout the competition. James wants to win it so that his nominations do not change. He wants full power in the house. Ryan is a competitor and wants to win, but is hoping that Josh will take him off the block if Josh wins so the fight is on for the final five.
Before 20 minutes pass Ryan is worn out and Sheila can hear him breathing hard. Ryan falls off, realizes he lost his chance
at getting off the block and is pissed. At 22 minutes into the competition Chelsia is in the lead with, James, Josh and then Sheila following close behind. Sheila refuses to pick up the pace knowing that it doesn't matter how many she gets in, but that if she doesn't mess up and everyone else falls off that she will still win. At 31 minutes into the game Sheila accidentally drops a block and gets down, feeling very defeated. Nothing too exciting happens until the 1 hour and 13 minute mark when Chelsia who is still in the lead falls off and James starts cheering. I am not quite sure WHY he cheered though. The competition now is between Josh and James. At 1 hour and 27 minutes into the veto competition James gets the last block in and gets the POV symbol up on top of his tube making him the holder of the POV.
After the competition Sheila is talking to some of the HG's and tells them that she won't kiss ass. She knows that they all know how she kept them there and she simply expects the same in return. Natalie tells her that she has to think about it and Sheila gets angry. She goes to Adam and when he can not tell her that he will keep her in the house she realizes how she has screwed up in the game and that she needs to start playing it for her. After everything Sheila did to Adam I am not sure WHY she would think that he would keep her in the house over Ryan who is his close friend.
Getting no where in the house Sheila goes to HoH to talk to James and "clear the air". She starts putting Adam down to him, playing on the fact that they still do not know who for certain cast the third vote. Adam tells her that because neither Adam or Matt will admit to casting the vote, that one of them may go home this week. Sheila gets very happy.
Adam heads up to HoH and James tells him how the house is trying to throw him under the bus. Adam gets very upset about it and excited talking about how he voted to bring James back in and not keep him out. James reads into this not as desperation to be believed by someone who is possibly telling the truth, but as desperation from Adam to cover his tracks so he is not kicked out of the house.
James then goes downstairs, tells Josh he is using the veto, takes Chelsia outside and tells her his plan to put Adam up. Chelsia is very supportive and tells him to make sure he does what is best for him. After they discuss it further in the HoH room, James tells Chelsia to send up Sharon because he wants to make sure that she is on their side. Once upstairs Sharon tells James that she knows for a fact that it was Matt who cast the third vote and that Natalie has been lying for him. James is upset because even after promising he would play honestly, Matt is still lying to him and he decides to put Matt up and bring Sheila down.
James is thrilled at the turn of events and the fact that he was voted out of the house, then voted back in, won HoH, the POV and has all the power in the house. Both Sheila and Ryan are predictable with their speeches, saying that they want to stay longer. James informs the house that he is going to use the veto and he takes Sheila off. Sheila is crying and overwhelmed, saying that it shows the type of guy James really is. I thought we all saw the type of guy he was weeks ago when Amanda collapsed. Funny how Sheila only sees people for the "good guys" they are when she has ass kissing to do!
Everyone in the room held their breath while James announced who he was putting on the block in Sheila's place. When he said it was Matt, Natalie looked genuinely shocked. James tells Matt that it was supposed to be him in that chair last week and that when Natalie made the deal for both of them he realized how much of a pair they still were in the house and that he was going to break that up.
In the DR afterwards Ryan states that he is feeling better about everything because the only person the house wants gone more than him is Matt. Natalie says that James is so full of crap that it is the reason his eyes are such a dark brown. (Alrighty then!) Matt states the obvious, "The pink haired boy defeated the Boston boy." It seems as if Matt knows his days are probably numbered...unless of course he can turn the house, or BB once again turns the tables on all the HG's.
