Everyone involved seems to feel bad for everyone else. Amanda feels bad for Parker because she has genuine feelings for him, Ryan feels bad for Jen but says that he will not throw himself under the bus for her and that he is with Allison for the game and that he is a competitor. Jen of course feels sorry for herself and promises Amanda that from here on out she will ALWAYS vote for Ryan to leave the house.
This is the episode where they let us know that Neil left the show. The only information that we were given is that it is for an "urgent personal matter" so it seems as if the reason will remain a mystery. Sharon comes back in the house and is informed of the Jen/Ryan twist. She is upset about it because when Jacob came in she told Jen she knew him, but Jen kept it a secret. She says that she will forgive, but not forget.
About midway through the show Amanda sauntered out wanting a back massage which it seemed like her "soulmate", Alex, wasn't willing to give. Parker agreed and gave her a full body massage which she reciprocated. During Parkers massage Alex walked through, got clearly angry, and told her that he was going to bed. I guess they not only have to sleep together but go to bed at the same time because Amanda informed him that she would finish up and be right there. Amanda then whispers to Adam that there is "so much drama in the house".
Later that night Chelsia fills James in on the twist of Sheila and Allison being a lesbian couple to which James responded that it all made sense. It also caused James to start thinking about who else might be a couple in the house and he goes looking. He somehow comes up with a cube that is in the hampster cage that is made up with four colors. He decides that the four colors signify that there are four prior connections in the house. Is he a genious or just reaching? That remains to be seen.
James then proceeded to start drama of his own by telling Alex that he thinks that there is another "couple" in the house. Without naming names Alex becomes convinced that he is referring to Amanda and Parker. Alex starts talking and eventually it gets back to Amanda that her partner is going around the house telling people that her and Parker are a couple in real life and she gets angry. She confronts him at which point he states that James pointed it out to him. Amanda then goes to tell Parker and they both go outside to confront James. James states that he did not name names and Alex admits that James didn't give names. This must have been part of the 6 hour fight we heard about the other night, but unfortunately the show limited it to about 90 seconds for our view pleasure. We never even got to see the fight between Amanda and Chelsia! Oh well, maybe that will be shown tomorrow night...
Later on back in the HoH room Alex tells Amanda that he has "real feelings" for her but that it is clear to him that she does not share those feelings. That night he tells her that if they are not going to be physical with each other that they should not get involved physically or mentally with anyone else in the house, meaning Parker. Amanda gets pissed and walks out of the HoH room, goes into the kitchen and comments that she is sure that Alex is watching her on the cameras...which of course he was. Amanda fills Chelsia and Parker in on her conversation with Alex and Parker states that the POV has to be used on him this week or else Alex will be gunning for him.
Speaking of the power of veto, the competition was a lot of fun to watch, but probably not much fun for those competing. In the past there has been 6 people competiting. The two people up for elimination, the HoH, and 3 people either of their choosing or whose names have been drawn from a bag. This year there will be four couples competing, at least for as long as there are four couples still in the competition. Tonight it was the HoH, Amanda and Alex, the two couples nominated, Jen/Parker & Ryan/Allison, and the lucky couple whose name was drawn out of a bag, Natalie and Matt.
The competition consisted of one member of each team (in this case all the women) holding onto a heart and being spun by their partners. The first one to hit 300 revolutions on this heart would win, or the last one pushing the panic button if everyone let go. By revolution 54 Natalie and Matt gained the lead which they never lost. Shortly after that Allison accidentally let go of the panic button which put her and Ryan out of the competition.
Parker looked like he was having a very hard time spinning that heart. Odd because he is one of the most muscular guys on the show, and he could barely put enough force on the heart to make it spin, while the other three guys didn't seem to have a problem. This of course got Jen mad and let us all listen to her yell and whine at Parker once again.
At around 200 revolutions Amanda "accidentally" let go of the panic button. She told us in the privacy of the diary room that she did it on purpose. Having HoH she knew there were people in the house that were worried about her and Alex and she didn't want to put an even bigger "x" on her back. Keeping the fact that she let go on purpose from Alex was a very good idea...
In the end Natalie who is scared of spinning and will not go on a merry-go-round and her partner Matt won the POV. Everyone in the house was happy, but especially Parker who was sure that Matt had his back and would use it to get him and Jen off the block. Matt later reassured him that he would, but also said that he had to check with Natalie because he knows how it is, "husband wants season tickets, wife wants ballet tickets". In the diary room Matt told us that he was not planning on using the POV on Parker, that he was just telling him that to pacify him and says that Parker causes drama in the house.
Everyone's true colors come out by the end of the show during the POV ceremony. Natalie and Matt decide NOT to use the veto, stating that it is in the best interest of the house to leave things they way they are. Parker gets up and walks away mad later saying in the diary room that he doesn't care, "Whatever. This game blows".
Love birds Jen and Ryan also turn on each other saying that if the other leaves it is ok and that they are in it for themselves, respectfully.
Who will be voted out of the house tomorrow night during the live eviction ceremony and who will be the next HoH super couple? Be sure to come back here to find out first and keep an eye on the CBS.com live feeds to see the action in the house 24/7.
