Hi there everybody. I’m your African Brother and first of all I’d just like to introduce myself formally as one of the new writers for morebigbrother.com. I am so very excited to be here all the way from Africa (no, that is not just a clever screen name!) where we have had some awesome and intriguing Big Brother Houses. I hope you guys enjoy this season’s winter edition of Big Brother 9 with me!
The highlight of Episode 2 was definitely when Jacob totally screwed up his chances of winning the five hundred thousand dollars, the love of his life and the respect from everybody in the Big Brother house by telling Jen that someone said her partner Parker “is a snake”.
Jacob totally folded under the pressure after Parker asked him to come out with the truth and it was no surprise when Parker and Jen decided to evict Jacob and Sharon from the House. Jacob obviously has NO sense and is totally clueless about how to play the BB game. What was he thinking, telling off one member of the Power Couple? Maybe he was trying to form some kind of trust by letting Parker in on someone’s bad-mouthing, but in the end Jacob’s unwillingness to fess up to who said it made him look like a liar and a coward. That combined with being a cheater definitely loaned itself to him being evicted. But poor Sharon! What a sweet girl and I feel really sorry for her. I think she could have made it further if given another chance. She really had a good game plan when she tried to form an alliance back with Parker by telling him that Ryan was the one who called him a snake. Guess some people just have bad luck!
Of course before the decision to evict Sharon and Jacob was made, Parker made the decision to evict Ryan based on what Sharon had told him. Jen no less than panicked and felt that she had to tell Parker her dirty little secret. I was a bit disappointed in this revelation but in the end it made things a bit more interesting because when Ryan found out that Jen had told Parker, he decided that it was only fair to tell Allison. This was SO entertaining because Allison took it really bad and said the word “like” about 1000 times (she sounded like a 16 year old girl on a sugar high). After only 24 hours she seemed to believe that her and Ryan could have really been each other’s soul mates and was really put off that she might now by able to get down and dirty with him anymore (I use the word ‘might’ because you never know with these reality shows!). So now Allison doesn’t trust Ryan, Ryan doesn’t trust Parker, Parker doesn’t trust Ryan and Jen doesn’t trust Allison. This is going to make for some good television!
After Sharon and Jacob’s elimination was the HOH competition (hosted by Eric and Jessica from BB8 no less!) and how much fun was this, because honestly, “How well do you know your soul mate” after one night and one day together? It was really close but Alex and Amanda ended up on top and will hopefully end up on top of each other in other later on tonight…what do you guys think? (Remember there is a comment box at the end of this post). It’s like waiting for popcorn to POP, those two! Especially when Amanda came out in that “Flexible Gymnast” costume…did you see Alex’s face? And the way she strutted her ass? Those two will definitely create sexy sparks sooner than later.
And how funny was it to see that everybody chose “FULL SPEED AHEAD” as their road sign except for Sheila and Adam (no surprises there). The episode even began with more bickering and Sheila complaining about Adam “disgusting” her. I don’t think Adam did himself any favors when he used the politically incorrect term “retard” in front of Sheila. Even so, Sheila couldn’t seem to keep her hands off of Adam every time they won a heart point in the HOH competition. She even shoved her boobs in his face! Make up your mind mama!
In the end we were all left wondering what is going to happen with the Jen/Parker/Ryan/Allison scandal and if anyone else is going to find out about their big secret. For myself, I am left to wonder when the heck Sheila and Adam are going to get evicted from the house. Those two are driving me bonkers and if I hear Sheila complain about Adam one more time I’m going to go into that house and remove them myself!
