Tonight’s show started off with an unusually long recap session. I think this is for two reasons:
1) Last weeks episode was jam-packed full of action so there was a lot to recap
2) nothing substantial happened in the house this week as our new HOH spent all of his time alone while the other three got along. CBS has become accustomed to seeing extra doses of Dick  drama in the house .

Lets go over the main points of interest in the recap.

Jessica leaves and Eric is mad  not because she was eliminated, but because they lied to him and he did not get his two days to say goodbye.

Eric confesses his love for Jessica and decides he will play for both of them and is then voted out of the house 20 minutes later. He does not seem to upset- if you have been watching the livefeeds you may have been privy to his late night “urges”. Perhaps he can collect some Jessica  sympathy in the new house and at least fulfill his need for action. He also walked out of the house with $40,000. Not too bad, although nothing compared to the winner of the house- but then again what’s money when you have love? (LOL)

Jameka made a deal 20 minutes before the live eviction with ED, which she promised but did NOT swear on the bible about. She would not put them both up if they saved her and that her vote belonged to them for the next two evictions. (making deals with the devil?!) This detail also does not matter, as Jameka does not win HOH.

Dick wins HOH and puts up Eric and Jameka.

Zach wins the POV and he decides to keep the nominations the same.

Eric is evicted. The final 4 is Zach, Jameka and the Donatos.


The Donatos and the Final 3 Guarantee

The Donatos believe they are safe as they have final 3 agreements with both sides. Daniele wants to target Zach- she then giggles and says “if we vote him out it means we have betrayed everyone in the house.” She also tells us in the DR that, “Zach is like the annoying friend that keeps calling your cell phone. Every time he calls you ignore it and listen the message.

Before the HOH competition we hear from the HG who say how badly they all want to win the HOH for themselves. For the first time, we hear from Daniele who makes a shocking unselfish statement. “In week two I would not have cared if my dad went home, but now I can’t believe how badly I want to win this for both of us.” Dani… you shocked me. So I guess CBS can also be considered a successful new therapy technique. Dick and Daniele’s relationship may not be great, but at least its better than before they were in the house. This is the one reason why I actually want to see them in the final 2 together. It would be sort of a sappy ending and hopefully they would just split all the earnings for first and second place. This would render reality TV useful and not just superficial- but that’s just my opinion. (I bet both LB and Dan would disagree!)


The HOH Competition “Picture This”

Houseguests have to guess answers based on pictures they have seen that have been taken in the house over various competitions. They move forward on a chessboard if they get the answer correct.

1) For the pic  “Those About to Slop” how many black guitars were standing upright in the stand?
Daniele :4
Zach: 1
Jameka: ?

1 is the correct answer Zach  moves ahead. (I can’t honestly remember what Jameka wrote my fingers were typing as fast as they could!)

2) How many Houseguests were  NOT wearing bunny suits in the  picture “Lets Make a Deal.”
Daniele: 5
Jameka: 5
Zach: 5

All three are correct and all three move forward.

3)In the picture of “Name That Pie” what is the blue teams score?
Jameka: 6
Zack: 6
Daniele: 6

All three got it correct and move forward.

4) In the picture “Shot for Shot” – what color is Dustin’s shirt?

Jameka: grey
Zach: blue
Daniele: blue

The answer is blue (OMG you mean he wasn’t wearing grey??) Zack and Daniele move forward.

5) In The picture  “___ Christmas” how many players were wearing sunglasses?
Jameka: 1
Zach: 3
Daniele 4

Daniele gets the answer correct with 4. She moves forward to tie Zach at 4-4. Jameka is two behind.

6) Who is wearing a bow tie in “The Mad Hatter Competition” photo?

all three  answer correctly by stating Mike and move forward.


7) How many squirrels are reflected in the window?

All three are correct again and move forward.


8) Are there any rats in the cage in the picture “Cat Scratch Veto”?

Again- all three answer NO and are correct. Zach and Daniele are tied and Jameka is out.


They have sudden-death overtime question that is number based: What was the total number of house guests in the 13 pictures on the wall?

Zach 59
Daniele 58

The Answer: 69  (ironically the number of days they have been in the house).

Zach is the new HOH. Daniele gives him a half-hearted hug and proceeds to the bedroom to sulk. (surprised? She seems to whine about both winning and loosing- but she is still less annoying than Amber- LOL) Dick believes that it doesn’t matter because they are aligned with him.

A tear from our  HOH












All 4 go to the HOH room to check it out with Zach. Zach finds a letter from his Dad and Mom that basically tells him to stick with it and that they are proud of him. It almost brings him to tears.

The Donatos Belly up?

Dick and Daniele are a little concerned but Dick plants the seed that Zach will never win over Jameka. Daniele talks to Zach whom basically makes it clear that he believes it has been his skill and a little luck that has brought him this far and that he believes that he never received any confirmation of his relationship in the house. Daniele is upset because she says he would have been out a long time ago if they would have not stuck up for him. (Daniele- you were about to stab him in the back --- Remember that?! )














Dick also takes a crack at Zach. He tells him Daniele has had his back since Nick left. Zach replies by reminding him it’s the final four now so everyone has to do what’s best for them.

Dick and Daniele talk- both with snarky comments, Daniele's a little cocky about him believing he is actually going to win this game…. (Daniele he did just make the final 4).

Dicks Quotable Quote: (about Zach): “This guy is so stupid. He could not figure out how to put his underwear on if his mommy didn’t help him!”

Zach talks to Jameka. “I have been playing the game for myself the whole time. If either one of us is against both of them we are screwed. I want to put one of them up and then you  play your ass of for the POV so you can vote and they can leave.”

Is Dick a mirror image of Bush and the American Media?
Zach makes a comment about Dick’s strategy. “He likes to strike fear in people and it works.” I can’t help but think that his game play mirrors the American Government and government controlled media. Strike fear in people, be loud and obnoxious and take advantage of them… It worked for Bush why not Dick?… in fact Bush is a Dick so why not Dick be a “Bush’?

But I digress. Reality TV need not  get Political! LOL

The most meaningless and over dramatic Nomination ceremony EVER

Zach is rather proud of himself as he explains how he is starting to light people up in the game and Daniele regrets her choice not to keep Amber. Dick is supportive of Daniele’s loss and reminds her that they just need to win POV and they are fine.

Zach makes a long-winded speech/statement by putting up the Donato’s.

“I came here to play- I’m still here, I still play- I feel like I did it on my own, I never had an confirmation that I had friends…… Blah blah blah…
The one interesting thing he did say is that Jameka restored his faith in God much to her surprise.












He then puts up Dick and Daniele and continues his rant:
“Dick and Daniele your tactics are awful but they work-  Daniele you have won 6 things so far… I wanted to level the playing field because you two have dominated everything. Give Jameka a final chance…….”

(Zach, have you ever heard the term “less is more”? Perhaps you were a tad too dramatic!)

Plus….

The POV is actually the only thing that matters this week. The person who wins POV gets the vote, basically….

Final Words

Jameka is shocked and says Zach is the least expected person she thought would  stick up for her.

Daniele says this  make  me want to win the POV– basically, it’s going to be brutal.
