LittleBrother's 24/7 Live Feed Update - Sept. 5 |
 The theme for today's House update is BOREDOM - with only six left in the House, and with everyone being locked up for going-on-70-days, almost every topic of discussion has been exhausted. While watching the Live Feeds today I couldn't help but feel bad for these people. I have often said that if I was on Big Brother (and we've all thought about being on the show, 'fess up!), the hardest part for me wouldn't be the challenges or the social aspect or even the backstabbing. It would be only having access to a few rooms in the House, and the astro-turf backyard.
For today's re-cap I am going to take a look at each remaining House Guest, and how he or she is coping with extreme boredom!
Before I get into it, there are two interesting things that happened in the House today that deserve mentioning:
- There was a House lock down, and a huge tarp was set up in the backyard. The House Guests think there is going to be an endurance challenge for the next HoH, and they are half right: the CBS crew is preparing for the double eviction that is happening tomorrow night!
- For awhile this afternoon, Janelle appeared on camera 4, sitting in front of a green screen in the backyard with an interviewer, holding a sign with a heart around it that said "6pm PST". Random.
OK, so let's talk about the House Guests.
DANIELE
Surprisingly, I would have to say that Daniele has been dealing with her boredom the best. All day, she has actually been smiling and giggly (even when talking to Dick!), and has been doing a bit of strategizing & talking about past episodes to pass the time. She's been teasing Eric and Jessica a lot, and seems to have mellowed out on her current cookie-making bender. Actually, come to think of it, maybe Daniele is sleep deprived and it's making her crazy. Over the past few days she hasn't been sleeping at all.
DICK
Speaking of going crazy, boredom has definitely gotten to Dick. He is pretty obsessed with the game and strategy right now, and keeps talking out scenarios repeatedly. During some of his backyard smoking sessions today he has been muttering "Vote out Jess? Vote out Jameka? Eric next? Zach? Jameka? Eric?" and pacing. He's also been hearing things (he kept checking behind the dryer today) and probably also needs to sleep.
ERIC
Well, we know how Eric has been... err... relieving his boredom, and now there's video proof (check out the forums)! Eric has also been spending all of his time following Jessica around like a pathetic puppy, and keeps asking her all these questions about their relationship, how she's feeling, blah blah blah. She mentioned her ex today and Eric asked her if she still likes him (she replied that she did a little), and this led to Eric talking about how his relationship with his ex means absolutely nothing... basically, he is completely unfocused on the game. If he was, he'd probably have noticed by now that Daniele and Dick are voting to evict Jessica.
JESSICA
I think Jessica knows she's the next to go, probably since Daniele goofed up and let it slip that only 3 people would be competing in the HoH competition tomorrow. She's been spending all day packing, and sleeping (but what else is new? Dang, this girl sleeps a LOT!). Also, it's become pretty clear that Jessica is annoyed with Eric pestering her, and she looks like she needs some space. When Eric talked about how he beat Zach in the PoV, Jessica snapped back, "Yeah, and now me and Jameka are on the block! Some good THAT did!"... referring to how she wanted to back door Daniele. She's also been somewhat cold towards him, and is playing on his guilt for her current position in the game. She seems to have checked out as well, and is basically sleeping and complaining.
JAMEKA
Jameka has been following some of Jessica's methods of coping with boredom - mainly packing and sleeping. I don't think she has done ANYTHING else today! Every time I have turned the Feeds on, she is sleeping. In fact, for about half an hour, one of the cams was in the small bedroom, and all we could see were her feet. Kinda funny.
ZACH
Zach has been in kind of a mood as well today, and Daniele has been teasing him mercilessly. When it comes to dealing with boredom, though, he's been doing the Typical Zach Thing: wandering around and talking nonsense to everyone. He'll read the backs of shampoo bottles out loud, ask dumb hypothetical questions, and hum random tunes. One thing he has been dead on about, though - on a few separate occasions today he has predicted that tomorrow is a double eviction!! Daniele keeps telling him it is too late for that, now, and to shut up. I never thought I'd say this, but Zach seems to be the most insightful person in the House right now!
So that is it, really... I guess this is the calm before the storm... I'll be back to report on the LIVE DOUBLE EVICTION tomorrow night! If Eric is the next HoH, you can bet that a Donato is going home at Zach & Jameka's hands... otherwise, I think Eric is biting the dust.
I wonder if the viewers are going to make Eric vote for Jessica tomorrow? That would be SO MEAN... ha!
