LittleBrother's 24/7 Live Feed Update - Sept. 10 |

Hey everyone! We're down to the wire, and one House Guest has renewed faith in the game, one is completely resigned to going home and just wants it all over with... one is 100% sure of a Final 2 placement, and one is... well, still kind of cluelessly bumbling along in my opinion. To find out who's who, read on!
Renewed Faith
With Zach as HoH, and the Donatos on the block, everyone has a vested interest in winning the PoV. If Jameka or Zach can win it, the nominations stay the same and one of the Donatos go home. If one of the Donatos wins it, Jameka's days are numbered. The PoV competition happens, and Daniele wins it!
Like we have seen several times this season, Daniele goes from whiny, cranky, and upset to jubilant, excited, and confident. It really has been a rollercoaster ride for her all season, and I've flip-flopped along with her. Sometimes I feel for her - she's trapped in a House with Dick the Crazy Father. Sometimes I dislike her - she can have a princess complex and belittles & discards friendships she makes in the House. Most of the time, though, I have to respect her - she's a tough player who knows the game inside and out, and when it comes to strategy she's got it in the bag and knows when to pull out a necessary win.
And so, here she sits with the ability to take herself off the block and determine who goes home: Jameka or her father. She's basically spent all of today basking in her recently-acquired power, and the only thing getting her down is boredom. She's guessed that tomorrow's episode is a live one, and is more than ready to be in the Final Three.
Resigned to Going Home
On the other side of the coin is Jameka, who - let's face it - doesn't have a hope in hell of staying. Unless some crazy power falls from the sky that allows her a second attempt at a veto, her days are pretty much numbered.
I have to hand it to her, though - she's taking it like a champ and understands that it's her time to go. She knows that she was played by some, could trust some, and that it was her own doing, for the most part, that got her to the place she's in. (She knows that her inability to play in 5 consecutive HoHs, coupled with her recent loss, has pretty much done her in.)
Jameka has spent most of today chatting with the other House Guests about all sorts of theories, including whether or not Jessica & Eric were legitimately into each other, what types of lies Eric has been telling, whether Amber really could have been trusted... those sorts of things. She's mentioned several times today that she can't wait to see the video footage of her time in the House, and wants to see who was really playing who. I know that Eric's America's Player role will shock her, but she certainly won't bat an eyelash when she sees all of the things that Dick has said about her. :)
Final 2: 100% Sure
With his daughter holding a pivotal power in her hands, Dick has gone from cocky to UBER-COCKY (I didn't even think it was possible!) in mere seconds. All he can talk about is how amazing it is that he and Daniele have won the game, how proud he is of them, how they could always trust each other... and on and on.
He also points out that he's the oldest House Guest in Big Brother history to make it this far, and that Daniele is the youngest. They are also the only related players to make it this far, and he's also the greasiest... so what's his point, really? :)
And... uh... one other thing: what is all this talk about Dick & Daniele being the Final 2? Last time I checked, there was still another (final) HoH competition to go through... and Zach has proven himself to be a bit of a threat with his recent string of wins. I wouldn't discount him quite yet. It would be interesting to see who Zach would take to the Final 2 if he won it...!! And who knows, maybe he DOES have a shot at being the overall winner?!
Dick has spent most of today strutting around and bragging, and trying to psyche Zach out by calling him a "panty-munching perv" and a "racist" for some comment he made to Eric (he said "how white of you"... meh. Somehow when one white guy says it to another, it doesn't really seem to be that big a deal. Am I right?)
It's kind of interesting: judging by Dick's lame attempts at insulting Zach (I really do think he's reaching for anything he can), and Zach's apparent indifference to them, it doesn't really seem to be working in Dick's favor.
Cluelessly Bumbling
Ahhh, Zach. You know, all season I have been completely, 100% ambivalent when it comes to him. I don't really HATE him, but I certainly don't LOVE him. I wonder if it's this neutral-vibe that's carried him past all the others? It's probably the most successful (and unintended) passive strategy I have ever seen on a reality TV show. For a guy his size to sneak under the radar for so long is an interesting feat to say the least.
Zach has spent most of today doing what he's always done - making unwanted small talk with irritated House Guests, giggling to himself about his own weird jokes, and spending a lot of time alone. As HoH, he's had the luxury of his own bedroom and music, and seems almost meditative (some may argue comatose and dazed). In many ways I think he may be best prepared for the final HoH competition.
So I'm conflicted: I always like to see the underdog win, and like to see the unexpected happen... so I guess I am rooting for Zach in that regard. But, I also like to see the player who fought hard and knows the game take what they earned... so in that respect I am leaning towards Daniele.
One thing is for sure, though - I am NOT all about seeing a bloated, arrogant, misogynistic jerk win it... so there's no cheering for Dick in my house. :)
I love this part of the game - so many scenarios and angles!!
(LOL - I just checked the Live Feeds, and Dick and Jameka are talking about how tacky the interior of the House is, and are swapping design tips... man, they are BORED. They are also discussing how weird it is that there was no veto ceremony today, and it looks like they were finally given playing cards!)
