The Donatos are our final 2! What have they been up to after winning this title? Well, lots of House Guest bashing for one! And if you think Dani would not complain about being in the final 2, think again! Dick and Dani play cards to pass the time. Dani has become obsessed with her hair! Dick destroys the BB trash can in the kitchen. Both of The Donatos wonder how Dick’s mother has responded to all of the inadvertent attention she has received and we have three, count em, three Dick’s Quotable Quotes for you today! (I’m sure we’ll have more over the next five days LOL)
Also, in this Live Feeds Update, we have the House Calls interview with BB guru/executive producer Allison Grodner. Allison gives us her insights into this season’s HGs as well as why she never has a favorite in any season! She also tells us the difference between “sharing” the money and giving “gifts.” Finally, Allison reluctantly concedes that America’s influence on Eric as America’s Player helped get the Donatos to the final two!

9/13 (9:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M. BB time)
DAY 76 in the Big Brother 8 House
*Kitchen Talk* Dick and Dani hang out in the kitchen after having sushi for dinner. Dick is doing dishes while Daniele slouches in her chair. Dick brags on knowing the HGs better than Zach saying “He didn’t know ANYONE in this house like I did!” (I find this funny given that Dick missed the exact same questions that Zach did and only won on ONE question about Amber of all people LOL). Dick tells Dani “If any of the jury give you any shit, just let them because it doesn’t matter, we won either way.” (How many times do you think we’ll hear that when they talk to the jury *yawn* LOL).
They discuss what it must be like in the jury house, Dani thinks they’re probably being fake with each other. Dick thinks Zach and Jen will hang out because nobody else will hang out with them. Dani figures out (somewhat) that the Sunday show must be “the best moments or something” because they know they face the jury on Saturday and are trying to figure out why the show doesn’t end until Tuesday. Daniele whines that she doesn’t want to stay in the house for five more days (here she is in the final 2 with the chance of winning $500,000 and complaining about it LOL).
Dani is in a mood and everything her Dad says, she gets snappy with. (This should be a fun five days for them LOL). Dani mentions something about Nick would have put up Jen and Zach had he stayed. Dick is reprimanding himself for missing the Jen question.
Dani is called to the diary room and jokes “what if I don’t go?” and Dick says “They’ll take your money away HAHA” (guess who then gets up and goes to her DR session LOL). Dick starts playing with the cameramen running all over the kitchen making the cameras follow him. He announces he is keeping the glasses BB provided.
Apparently the trash can got kicked at some point because the camera zooms in on it and it has a huge kicked in dent in it (again, I say nice…) While Dick is in the DR, Daniele plays some solitaire. (Later, Dick says he punched it when they won.)
Dick returns from the DR and Dani says “Why are you so happy?” and Dick says “Because we just won $550,000!” Then, Dick and Dani play cards and do some Jen bashing. Daniele is annoyed that BB still won’t let her talk about her DR sessions, not even with Dick. D/D go on a HG bashing spree, I’ll spare you the details.
Dick’s Quotable Quote 1: “Everybody that turned against us got the axe!”
Dick refers to Zach as a ‘turd hole’ (nice!) and they make fun of him and Jameka for memorizing things in the house. Dani thinks it will be funny if she goes on the message boards and reads “I hope Dani ditches her dad” (Dick is like “That’s not funny” HAHA I thought it was HAHA) Rob and Kim were Dani’s favorite team on the Amazing Race.
Dani continues to complain about Zach beating her by 1 point for HOH (um Dani, Dick only beat Zach by one question, my dear, what’s the difference?) Dick says “Thank God there were no Nick questions!” (he thinks Nick questions have been his downfall in competitions). They joke about making Dick’s Mom a Myspace account and letting the “Jameka haters” add her. Dick says “believe it or not, I’ve been holding back and have more to say!” Dani responds “That’s hard to believe!”
Dick and Dani go through an endless discussion of how the game would have changed if certain HGs would have went before others. D/D argue over who is more bruised and banged up from comps then Dani jokes “now to prepare for The Amazing Race” (oh good lord, please no!) Dick keeps calling Dani “Blondie” and she says “I can’t take this for five days!” LOL
Dick feels like he’s been in a time warp and it still feels like June to him. Dick and Dani bash on Zach’s HOH speeches, then everyone else’s other than their own. Dani thinks the Jury ‘rolled’ at Zach’s nomination speech of them (actually, they applauded LOL). Dick says “some of these competitions were set up to kill you!”
*Bathroom Banter* Daniele goes into the bathroom and messes with her hair for about the millionth time tonight!
*Storage Room Strategizing* Dani goes to the SR and finds some of her favorite foods (Grapes mainly) and says “Thanks Big Brother!”
*Backyard Discussions* Dick goes out for a cig while Dani is in the DR and screams “WE DID IT VINCENT! I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU TUESDAY!”
Dick’s Quotable Quote 2 : “How many people in America threw their fucking beers at their tv sets tonight saying ‘What the fuck? That motherfucker won!’…and the Raiders still suck!” LOL
Dick screams “Every single time we needed a win, we won!”
Dani comes out saying she’s tired and there was a technical difficulty in the DR. Dani says all the other ‘dimwits’ played personal and that’s why they’re not there (like she didn’t? LOL)
Dick’s Quotable Quote 3 : “Hey Mom, how did you feel about the question on Jameka calling you a bitch?!”
Dick says did I beat Zach by 1 or 2? (You beat him by 1 Dick, one question about Amber!) Dick and Dani discuss Joe and story time being stopped by the producers. Dick says Dani should take one of the champagne glasses they got but she quips “I’ll get them when you die” (nice!) Then Dick is called to the DR and Dani plays with her hair for a while, then goes into the kitchen.
Later, D/D return to the patio and Dani jokes “There will be a banner that says ‘They are both liars!’” Dani says if not for the rivals, this would have been like a regular season (yeah wait till you hear about Eric LOL) and they still complain about the car (I bet the runner up gets it at the finale). Dick says when he saw Zach soaked in the HOH comp and he started cackling, it reminded him of The Joker in Batman LOL Next was more Jen bashing. Daniele says “God, these peopleeee” for the 1000th time. Dani keeps saying her grandmother is going to be so embarrassed about being involved with this show.
*Hammock Happenings* Dick sits in the hammock after flipping it over while Dani is in the DR and says “What a fucking summer! Unbelievable! We did it!” Then he gets up, walks around, smacks the tether ball and returns to the patio couch.
*House Calls Gossip* Allison Grodner, BB guru and executive producer since season 2, was the guest today. Allison says D/D can’t split the money, however, “gifts are OK” and Dick has talked about paying for Vincent and Dani to get an education. She also says with Boogie and Will being business partners, chances are they ‘shared’ the money, but there’s no way to prove it. Allison says the jury will not know who the final 2 are until the 7th juror walks in at the jury roundtable (I always forget these things every season LOL). Allison says the game was not ‘rigged’ for the Dontaos. The AP reveal will happen “after the vote” but before the winner is revealed and Allison says Eric is worried of how Jessica will react. Allison does kind of concede that America wanting Dustin out did have an effect on the Donatos being the final two (but she was reluctant to agree with that statement!)
Allison says the tapes have been watched and the blue ball fell into Jameka’s tube in a “million to one shot” but Jameka continued to play and ‘she would not have won that competition anyway.” Allison says lying and deceit are big in winning the money (but not the only ways, she says) and that teens and kids should remember it’s a game (but then are we teaching them that cheating wins the game…?) Allison says the Jen/Dick tea thing wasn’t “violent” and that’s why BB producers didn’t step in. Allison says the wrap party will never be videotaped because it’s a time for the HGs to decompress from being taped all the time (I would agree with this!) Allison said if Eric did not vote with America, he would lose his stipend and the $40,000 dollars he’s earned which explains his loyalty and never telling he was AP. A caller questions if Dick was the best mental and physical player and Allison says she’s not sure, some of it comes down to luck (SO TRUE!) Allison says she doesn’t have a ‘favorite player’ she just looks at what will make the best show on television (that’s for sure!) In closing, Allison says BB9 will be “different and expect the unexpected!” What a fitting end to this interview! By the way, just as a side note, I love Allison Grodner, she is so great in interviews and SO personable! It’s no wonder the HGs all love when they talk to her in the DR!
