Dan's 24/7 Live Feed Update # 38 |
 Well, MBB readers, as you can see, Zach has become the odd man out this week! Dick, Daniele and Jameka have pretty much abandoned him thus far and most of the time he sits by himself either in the kitchen or his HOH room. As you can see, he’s so bored, he’s reading the ingredients of a box of Kix. In today’s feeds update, there’s not a lot of Zach. Zach was only shown on the feeds briefly twice because for the most part he hides in his HOH bedroom and sleeps.
Elsewhere, however, we have the reaction to today’s POV comp and winner (see the huge Spoiler Section we have at the bottom of the article if you want to know!) Also, Daniele and Jameka seem to bond more over arts and crafts. We have lots of discussions of evicted players, past comps, could haves, should haves and would haves about past comps and evictions and things the HGs remaining will say when they see certain HGs after the season ends.
Also, in this Live Feeds Update, Dick dogs Kaysar of all people on his game play and we have the picture of Dick and Dani’s painted plate that they made during last night’s arts and crafts session as our picture of the day.

9/8 (9:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M. BB time)
DAY 71 in the Big Brother 8 House
*HOH Strategy Talk* Zach has been hanging out by himself in the HOH room. He took a shower and then ate some cereal. From what I have gathered, Dick has started his “strategy” of ranting at Zach trying to psych him out before the next HOH comp. Zach has just been telling him “sticks and stones, Dick, sticks and stones!” (exactly what I would say too HAHA) and is basically ignoring him.
Later, Dick goes up to see if Zach will let him use the cd player down in his room (BB has authorized it and getting a cd for Dick as well) and is sweet as pie when he asks. Zach is just like “sure, I guess.”
*Kitchen Talk* Dani, Dick and Jameka move their Back Yard discussion to the kitchen. The discussion continues on to lots about Eric and Jess. Jameka had said outside earlier that she’s going to ‘lay Eric out’ about all of his lies (or perceived lies that you have heard D/D fill your head with). There is talk again about whether Eric and Jess’ relationship was genuine or if they were both playing each other. Jameka continues talking about things she will ask other HGs after the show. There is talk about Jameka flipping out back when Nick was still in the house but Jam says “show me the tapes, I never flipped out!” Jameka says “hands down, the banner about Amber and Eric was right!” They are all wondering if we hear the voices of BB on the live feeds (Yes, we do!) Dick says they used to cut to fish whenever the voice of BB would come over the P.A. (only in season 2 Dick, they gave that up in season 3). Daniele mentions the guy’s name from earlier outside is indeed Chris.
Dick goes to the DR and finds out that he is allowed to get a cd if Zach will let him use his cd player. Then, he goes outside to smoke. Dani and Jameka continue their lengthy discussion of Kail and Joe and other evicted HGs. Dick mentions how crazy it is that he used the veto on Daniele but stayed in the game. Then, there is talk of Survivor vs. Big Brother. Survivor is tougher physically, Big Brother is tougher emotionally according to D/D/J.
Jameka complains that it’s because the comps are timed that she has never done well (funny, that’s what Dani always whines about when she loses, not so much when she wins LOL). J and D mention they would like to do Amazing Race. Daniele talks about wanting to go to dinner with her ‘regulars’ (the people in production who talk to her the most.) J/D/D talk about how long ago getting the key and being told they were picked to be on the show seems to them. Dick dogs on Kaysar saying “he was terrible at this game!”
When Dick goes to the bedroom to listen to the cd BB is letting him listen to, Dani and Jam continue talking while J continues to work on her plate she painted during last night’s arts and crafts session. Jam has some trouble with a fly buzzing around her drink and jokes “this little fly is outrageous! He’s trying to get drunk!”
*Bedroom Discussions* Dick rocks out to his Motley Crew cd in the big bedroom.
*Backyard Discussions* Dick, Daniele and Jameka have discussions about today’s POV competition (Zach is up in HOH taking a shower), past POV competitions and mistakes they made that kept them from winning certain comps. Jameka says she “never started playing the game for herself until the deal you (Dick and Dani) made with me on Thursday.” She says all of the rest of the time she was just playing for keeping nominations the same or for other people. Daniele points out “if you want to win this game, you have to play it for yourself from the beginning.” (good point Daniele, but not always true – Lisa anyone!)
We get a rare glimpse tonight into the relationship the HGs have with ‘production’ people behind the scenes. After D/D/J talk about the stipends they will receive for being there (3,000 per month for a total of 9,000 if you are there for 3 months – Jameka was wondering about this as she will have been there for almost the whole 3 months), a normal real human voice comes over the P.A. (I believe it is the one they always refer to as Chris at night) and says “Uh guys, let’s not talk about the stipends ok?” and they jovially joke with him and Jameka asks “Have you guys looked at the video yet about the blue ball?” (in Thursday’s live veto comp) and the voice (of Chris?) says “Not that I have heard of but I will reiterate the question to them.” Jameka says “Thank you!”
Dick says Amber had two shots at winning a lot of money (on BB and Power of 10) and blew them both. He then says he hates the washer they have to use and Jameka mentions that all of the appliances are from Kitchenaid. Dick then says “Kitchenaid blows!” (I’m sure the sponsor is happy you said that Dick HAHA)
*Spoiler Section* Daniele won the POV comp today but it was a close win over Dick. Every time Dick mentions how close it was, Daniele yells at him because she thinks he’s ‘trying to take away from her win!’ (Oh Daniele, you whine when you don’t win and whine when you do win LOL)
Later, there are jokes about Dani not returning the favor and using the POV on her dad (she’s obviously going to use it on herself) and Jameka thinks it’s crap she has to wait until Thursday to go to the jury house. Jameka is happy she can ‘rid herself of these damn numbers!’ that she has had to remember for competitions. Jam is definitely resigned to the fact that the game is over for her with Dani’s veto win (which is good because it pretty much is).
Dick whines that he wouldn’t be mad about being nominated if Zach had just said it was strategy but “when he threw all of that other shit on top of it, that was unnecessary!” (What Dick, you like calling people out but don’t like being called out on your own actions? Poor baby : ) ) In the bedroom by themselves, Dick asks Dani to think about offering to throw the first part of the HOH comp to Zach so they wouldn’t have to deal with the endurance and Dani says “absolutely not! I haven’t thrown a comp yet and I don’t intend to start now!”
