 The game is starting to take a MAJOR toll on Jameka as evidenced by her 45 minute long tearful prayer tonight! The HGs adjust to beer pong with a much smaller table and we have a Dick’s Quotable Quote for you. The HGs continue to hate on Jen and wonder if Eric will get to play in the POV. Jess and Jameka discuss the emotional side of the game AND the HGs discuss playing their first luxury comp this season, a guys vs. girls competition! Daniele is jealous of Jessica’s HOH win!
Today’s Live Feeds Update also features a special edition of House Calls Gossip where we finally get to bring you Dustin’s post eviction comments (for Jen’s post eviction House Calls Gossip, see yesterday’s Live Feeds Update #30 : ) )
We also have lots of spoilers today regarding Jessica’s nominations and the nominees’ and other HG’s reactions! These spoilers are at the bottom of the article if you want to read them : ) Finally, we have a spoiler Picture of the Day for you sure to put a smile on your face : )
8/24 (9:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M. BB time)
DAY 56 in the Big Brother 8 House
*HOH Strategy Talk* After she’s done playing beer pong, Jameka ends up alone in the HOH bedroom kneeled by the bed having another of her crying prayer sessions (what is she so emotional about!?) She goes on and on about thank you God, thank you God, I’m not worthy, I’m not worthy. LOL while Jameka does this, the camera close ups on the stuffed dog that Eric gave Jess laying on the bed HAHA Jameka goes to the bathroom, washes her face, then kneels back by the bed, puts headphones on and starts to cry again (I think the stress of this game is taking it’s toll on Jameka big time!) Then the headphones come off and we have ANOTHER tearful prayer!
Jessica FINALLY comes up and asks Jameka if she’s ok and Jam starts apologizing but is still crying and kneeling, but then Jess offers her a hug and she gets up and hugs her. Then, Jess and Jameka discuss how hard and stressful the game is emotionally. They then discuss the luxury comp earlier in the days when (mini spoiler) the girls creamed the guys and got a two minute clothing shopping spree (really now, did the guys really lose there? LOL)
Jameka wonders if there will be a “special power” this season (I doubt it until the final four). Next, the ladies discuss Zach and his being bullied in high school and still having issues with it. They then discuss Jen and Kail and how they really didn’t try to get close to anyone in the house except each other.
*Kitchen Talk* The HGs (minus Amber who is in the bedroom reading her Bible out loud LOL) are having spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread for dinner (ironically, so am I while I watch them LOL); Eric and Dick point out Jameka’s ‘mmhmms’ and Dick gives us a DQQ:
Dick’s Quotable Quote (to Jameka): “You could go a whole day without having an actual conversation just using those mmhmms”(Jameka’s response: “I didn’t know I did them that much.” HAHAHA wait until you get out of the house Jameka!)
More Jen hating and laughs about Joe’s Story Time being banned (LOL that REALLY seems like forever ago now!) They then joke about Zach and Carol having a thing the first two weeks (these HGs have officially run out of things to talk about LOL) Apparently, Dick made dinner tonight as everyone thanks him. Jameka apologizes for not making salad, she totally forgot (because there’s so much else to think about LOL) The HGs start talking about a producer named Mike and a stern female voice comes over the PA that says “Mike is NOT a House Guest so please don’t talk about him!”
There is more ribbing at Eric about not being picked to compete in any POVs this season and how if he doesn’t get picked this season, he’ll be a BB record setter just like Jen (haha Eric would be like the anti-James, James always won the vetoes, Eric never gets to compete for them to win them!) The HGs try to guess what tomorrow’s POV will be. They think speed or puzzle related.
Later, BB gives the HGs beer so we get another game of beer pong! This time Amber, Dick and Jameka also play. Jess and Zach, however, do not play at first but join in later. Dick does very well. Daniele complains that the smaller table makes the game harder. Zach calls Dick “the oldest frat brother ever” LOL Jessica coaches Jameka and Jameka makes one and the girls jump up and down like crazy about it LOL
Beer pong from days gone by : )
Eric says they need to come up with new wagers on the beer pong, no reusing the old ones (I think Eric’s tired of having to wear Jess’ clothing LOL) Eric gives Jess a playful pat on the butt saying “hey, that’s what teammates do, you can pat me back” and she smacks him on the butt HARD HAHAHA
Later, after beer pong, Dick and Dani talk and it’s really obvious that Dani is jealous of Jessica’s HOH win. She says that Jess gets better HOH baskets and she even says “I just really want it again, I deserve it!” (um Dani, you’ve had HOH twice, stop being a hog dear!) Daniele counts all the evicted HGs on the memory wall with an evil smile on her face and tone in her voice.
*Bedroom Discussions*
Amber is in the bedroom reading her Bible. Eric offers to bring her a plate in from dinner but she says she’ll be out once her face calms down from crying earlier (oh Wamber LOL)
*House Calls Gossip* We have a special edition of House Calls Gossip for you today. Due to problems with CBS.com as well as our site being hacked, we were not able to bring you Dustin’s House Calls interview after his eviction so without further ado, we bring you Dustin’s episode of House Calls post eviction on Friday, August 17th (for Jen’s post eviction comments, see HC Gossip in yesterday’s Live Feeds Update #30 : ) )
Dustin was blindsided but he says the day of eviction he did think something might have been up due to the way HGs were treating him. Dustin said he totally forgot about the cameras being on him. Dustin said he volunteered to go on the block as a favor to Jess and because he thought he’d be safe. Dustin’s goal was to make it to the jury and he’s happy to be there and out of the house. He said he would NOT do Big Brother again but if he did, he wouldn’t be so overconfident with himself (understatement Dustin!) Dustin feels he will stay in closest contact with Eric and Amber after the show is over. Dustin plans on enjoying his one week of solitude in the sequester house and then hearing everyone’s “fictitious” stories of what has happened. Dustin’s favorite moment: wearing the king’s outfit in the Humpty Scramble. His worst moment: his eviction. Dustin thought Eric would go before him. Dustin says he only would have hugged Amber and Jameka because he feels Jess and Eric betrayed him but that Jess “swooped in” for the hug before he had time to think. Dustin’s dream final 2: Amber and Jameka. In Dustin’s time capsule to himself, he told himself to remember it’s a game and show everyone the true best side of himself and be in it to win it. Dustin realizes his overconfidence and arrogance lost him the game. Dustin hopes that Kail realizes it was just a game and that he had an impact on eliminating her homophobia. Dustin feels Mike and Nick’s evictions were good strategically regardless of his being evicted now. Dustin wasn’t surprised by any of Joe’s actions, he expected everything that Joe did and said. Dustin enjoyed the break from the outside world.
Dustin’s one word descriptions of each HG: Amber: heart; Carol: unsure; Daniele: vicious; Dick: immature; Jessica: blonde; Joe: idiotic; Eric: player; Mike: meatlog; Nick: America’s Sweetheart; Zach: fee fi fo fum; Kail: hick town; Jen: vacant; Jameka: spirit; He doesn’t know how to describe himself in one word, he says “it depends on how I was portrayed.”
Dustin says of Dick, there is a big difference between fear and respect. The HGs fear of Dick has gotten him this far in the game, but their lack of respect for him will ultimately lose the game for him (well put Dustin!) In closing, Dustin thanks America for their support and says “See you all after sequester!”
*Spoiler Section* Jess and Dick talk in the BY about Amber and Zach’s reactions to being nominated. Jess says they are acting like they’re not mad but she can tell they really are. She says Amber has been different towards her and Zach feels betrayed because he had spent so much time with her in the HOH room the first time she was HOH (he did!?) Jess is claiming she’s not going to change the nominations unless one whens POV and claims she’s going to put Jameka up if A or Z win POV (but I still think she has a backdoor Daniele plan in place that is going to rock Dick’s world and this week is going to be CRAZY once she puts up Daniele!)
Zach talks to Jessica in the HOH room and says he thinks she’s trying to backdoor Daniele but he wants to know if that doesn’t happen if there’s a tie vote, will she keep him in and evict Amber. Jess says she will (we’ll see!) Zach tells Jess he knows she trusts Eric, but he doesn’t. Zach asks if Jess thinks she can handle Dick if she puts up him or Daniele for a backdoor and Jess says “oh yes, I can!” (you go girl!) Jess says if anyone throws the POV tomorrow, she’ll put them up if the veto is used. Zach thinks the only one he ever has any issues with in the house is Dick and Jess responds “who in the house doesn’t have issues with Dick?” LOL
Dick and Daniele discuss Jessica and where she stands. Dani is not so sure that Jess is on their side and wants Jess gone before the final four (and I think Jess feels the same about you Dani! LOL)
Later, Amber and Eric have a BY talk about her being nominated. Eric says it’s just going to suck from here to the end of the game for everyone. Amber says she’s fine with it. Eric says he thinks Zach is in more danger than Amber because he chose not to make friendships in the house. Eric says he feels for Amber because he knows he’s on borrowed time as well (oh please Eric, you know you’re golden with Jessica paired up with you LOL) Eric thanks Amber for talking with him last night and lets her know he’s there for her if she needs him (aww, nice Eric : ) )
After Eric goes back inside, Amber looks to the skies and prays for strength which brings us to our:
