Joe tries to get Daniele to vote her Dad out and keep him in!

House Calls Gossip returns with Erika’s take on this season as well as what she’s up to now (you’ll be surprised!)  and we have a treat at the end of the article for Eric fans : )

7/18 (9:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M. BB time)
DAY 19 in the Big Brother 8 House

*HOH Strategy Talk* Jen and Joe talking about how this is the week they have to get Dick out or it will be a long time before the opportunity will arise again; Jen says “we can get you out later” with a laugh and Joe says “yeah I guess.”

Kail later comes up to HOH telling Jen she doesn’t have Mike as much as she thinks she does; Jen thinks Eric can still be persuaded (no he can’t! LOL); more talk of Eric being the swing vote (once again I say America you better have done your job here!); Jen says they were going to “throw HOH” to Zach this week but since Zach is now going to vote for Joe to leave, that’s not happening (like it would have anyway)

The Mrs. Robinson alliance is pretty much dead (though it might rejoin together later).  We all know that Nick isn’t really in it anymore and now Kail can’t control Mike and Zach’s votes.  It has basically just morphed into a Jen/Kail alliance (which is an alliance of convenience, Kail will kick Jen to the curb fast when the house turns against Jen)

Jen once again alienates herself in the HOH room even playing an odd game of chess with herself on the bed; For all of you with the theory that Jen is “acting,” the look on her face when she was by herself playing this chess game should more than answer that!  Jen pokes her head out and invites Zach (who is down in the kitchen) to come up and play chess with her (it was actually more like a summons LOL); Jen has made all the chess pieces into HG representations and explains to Zach who is who LOL (it’s an Alice in Wonderland chess set for those who are wondering); Jen still trying to sway Zach to vote Joe out by endlessly discussing who will do Dick’s bidding by showing Zach on the chessboard (I wish there was a screen cap for this guys, but I couldn’t find one : (  Trust me, it’s very odd!); Kail comes in and says “Should I leave?” and Zach says “I shouldn’t be here if both of you are in here” (good move Zach!) so Kail says “It’s ok, I’ll go” and leaves! HAHA; Zach tells Jen he’s not joining sides (Jen gets mad when Zach messes up who is which chess piece HAHA; also Jen has no idea what a pawn really is, she kind of knows but not exactly LOL); Jen trying to tell Zach that down the line, Dick will beat him and Zach says if he gets HOH, he will put Dick and Daniele up again (what do they have against them!?); Jen ends the conversation saying it’s a win/win week either way whoever goes (then why did you spend 20 minutes trying to sway Zach’s vote?)

*Bedroom Discussions*  As Joe is preparing to pack his bags for possible eviction, he talks to Daniele about the benefits of keeping him in the house over Dick, her own father! (As I keep saying, just when I think Joe can go no lower, he tops himself!)  Daniele listens intently but doesn’t really say one way or another which way she’s voting.

*Backyard Discussions*  Dick thinks the next HOH comp will be endurance, discusses All Stars first episode; Jameka, Dick, Amber, Jessica, and Eric play games guessing what questions might be asked in future HOH comps; discussions of who would visit whom after the show ends, Jessica saying she wouldn’t walk across the street to see Carol; Daniele is walking in and out trying to make some kind of slop concoction in the microwave, when it doesn’t work she gives up and doesn’t eat (Dani is the only HG that walks around in boots and a fall/early winter coat (with fake fur no less!)  It makes you wonder why she is so cold all the time and how much does she really eat each day?)

Apparently Joe has used his slop pass this week (can you blame him? LOL) and is eating pizza; the HGs argue over who would or wouldn’t do Playboy/girl LOL; Dick jokes that all of the guys’ penises are already on the Internet (HAHA no they’re not, not yet Dick LOL)

Later, after Family Feud, Eric reveals to Amber that of all the HGs in the house, he wants Joe gone the most (agreed Eric!)

*Hammock Happenings* Nick and Daniele are in the hammock; Nick wants to write and illustrate a children’s book with a football buddy and wants to be an Oprah’s Book Club featured author (all rightie then!); he wants to teach and coach football at his high school; Dustin comes up and does a funny Zach impression LOL; Nick asks if Dani thinks her boyfriend is watching them on the Live Feeds and Dani says “no;” Nick keeps eating cookies and teasing Daniele that she can’t eat them (Dani is not amused)

 
*House Calls Gossip – July 17, 2007* housecalls A caller referred to Jen as “The Queen of Hearts” (I like Little Brother’s characterization of her as “The Evil Red Queen” better LOL); a clip is shown on the feeds of Jen saying she’d “never put up Kail” and Kail laughing but not saying she’d never put up Jen!  Lots of calls about Jen blah blah blah; a clip from the feeds is shown where Dick tells Amber he knows he will be evicted before Daniele.
*House Calls Gossip – July 18, 2007*  Erika from All Stars was the guest, she now does casting for Survivor and The Amazing Race (interesting!) and says she is dating someone who has been on Survivor (but won’t name names); Erika passes her crying crown to Amber LOL; Gretchen continues her theory that Dick and Jen are two sides of the same coin, Erika agrees and says that’s probably why they were cast; Lots of discussion that Jen is “good TV” (eh for like one episode maybe); Erika also says her being the thinnest ever BB player has now been taken by Daniele (agreed!); discussion of Jameka and Mike flying under the radar and how far that will get them.
