Dan's 24/7 Live Feed Update # 12 |
Nick pledges allegiance to both Amber and Zach in individual conversations; Nick makes plans with Zach to get Daniele evicted (is Nick just playing Daniele? Is Nick playing everyone?); The HGs have a backyard drum circle; we have a new Dick’s Quotable Quote
There is a HUGE Dustin and Joe blowout in this feeds update so big we had to split it into two parts!

7/16 (9:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M. BB time)
DAY 17 in the Big Brother 8 House
*Dan’s Prediction* I have always made a prediction two weeks into the game since season 1 and the only seasons I have been wrong were 3 and 6. Here’s my prediction for season 8’s winner. I may be right. I may be wrong but here it is: Mike
*Kitchen Talk* (Dick wearing a shirt that says “Every Great Idea I Have Gets Me In Trouble” LOL); HGs talking about what they think airs on the shows and how they can tell based on what is asked in the Diary Room
Dick’s Quotable Quote (to Jen about the DR conversation): “So do you think it was a good idea to tell Jen to go f*ck herself a few hours before she got HOH” (Jen responds “Guess not huh”)
Jen and Nick doing dishes (fascinating let me tell ya! LOL); Jen misses being able to get in the hot tub because of the unitard; Jen saying her apartment has two dishwashers (why would you need two?!) and if not for them, the dishes would never get done (HAHA I do hear her there, I could never go back to doing it the old fashioned way either HAHA)
*Exercise Room Escapades* Kail and Jessica are in the ER talking about the responsibilities of HOH; Jess is on the elliptical and Kail is watching. Jessica prefers the slop to the shakes they are allowed to have when on slop; Jessica’s major is broadcast journalism (our next Katie Couric anyone? LOL)
*Bathroom Banter* Joe goes on and on with Nick about the Dustin blowup chronicled in Hammock Happenings; Nick seems oblivious to the whole thing (saying yeah yeah yeah over and over again LOL)
*Backyard Discussions* Zach and Amber discuss life outside the house; Zach relates a time a roommate left him high and dry with the rest of a lease. Amber once again says she “has never ever screwed anyone over ever”
Kail and Dustin discussing how Joe is still mad that he applied to be on Big Brother for 3 years and Dustin got in simply for being his ex (that’s not the only reason they cast Dustin, Joe! Which is exactly what Kail is saying too); Dustin telling Kail she was fair and not to worry, the house has bigger fish to fry (yes Dustin but you still better keep an eye on Kail, she’s as smart of a player as you are!)
The HGs form a drum circle and bang to the beat of the drum (actually an empty slop bucket LOL)
Dustin shows Amber and Jen his bellybutton, describes it as “cavernous” For all those that want to see, here it is with a close up LOL
Lots of discussions of the guys’ penis sizes (they never tire of this conversation) and Eric says something about how his tilts to the left for all of you who wanted to know LOL
*Hammock Happenings* Nick and Amber are discussing different aspects of the game; Nick says “I’m playing Daniele haha” and Amber says “no you’re not!” and he says “nah I’m just kidding” (hmmm is he?); Nick tells Amber about who is in the Mrs. Robinson alliance. He says he’s not really in it, he is playing them (Nick is in like 4 alliances which I’m sad to see that that is his game because it will get him evicted around the halfway point of the game and he was my favorite : ( ) When Zach and Dick come up and try to talk to them, Amber asks them to leave her and Nick alone for a while, then Dustin yells at her to use more tact when communicating with people (LOL) (I have to say it’s hard watching Nick bury himself in this conversation. He really thinks Amber of all people will keep her mouth shut…Nick Nick Nick, this is very sad to see : ( ); Nick calls Kail a “shady bitch” and that he “hates Jen” (Amber is milking him for all he’s worth); Amber: ‘Look at you, all this sh*t you’ve got going on’ Nick: ‘I’m a smart lad’ (beginning to wonder about that with this conversation Nick : ( ) Amber wonders if she should tone down the crying, saying the crying is just her thing (mmhmm); Nick: “When I leave this game, I want to be looked at as the noble lad who looked out for people” (um being in four different alliances isn’t going to win you this title Nick!) Nick saying he doesn’t care if he wins the money or not blah blah blah; Nick tells Amber she’s like his sister and he will look out for her. Amber says “so it’s me, Daniele and Jameka you are really looking out for?” and Nick said “yeah” (no Amber, that’s just ONE of his alliances, he also has a secret alliance with Zach and one with Joe!); Talk of Daniele’s boyfriend – Nick knows he can only push it so far with Dani because of him.
The Dustin and Joe Blowup in the hammock, part 1:
Later, Dustin and Joe are in the hammock discussing things. Joe says he has “been dishonest but never lied to him” (whatever that means); Joe says he knew two weeks before Dustin told him that he had cheated on him (you know I never condone cheating, but…can anyone really blame Dustin??); Lots of stuff about how Dustin supposedly has lied outside and inside the house and Joe has to set traps to catch him (blah blah blah); Dustin talks about how he left Joe a year ago because of his manipulations of other people towards him and he’s trying it again in the Big Brother house and it’s not working (yeah the gonorrhea thing being the biggest example of this!)

*Teacup Talk* Finally the teacup is used again! Nick and Zach have a discussion in it about which one of them should get HOH next and who to put up etc. Nick says if Zach is put up, he will be too; Zach and Nick discussing how to get Daniele out (more and more I think Nick is playing Daniele, heck, I think Nick is playing EVERYONE!); Dick comes up and starts spinning the teacup and Nick and Zach get out of it LOL
*Hot Tub Happenings* Joe and Jessica are in the hot tub after the Dustin/Joe blowup; Joe is giving everyone in the house that will listen his spin on things. Funnily enough, Dustin hasn’t brought it up to anyone HAHA; Dustin says something across the yard saying why doesn’t he talk to his face and Joe says he has no problem doing so
*House Calls Gossip – July 17, 2007* CBS.com was having major issues today and so I was not able to watch House Calls until the very last few minutes. Hopefully this issue will be resolved and House Calls Gossip will return as scheduled tomorrow! : )
*Spoiler Section*
Joe is all over the house trying to get votes to get Dick evicted over him (yeah Joe sure that’s going to happen LOL) now that he has been put up as the replacement nominee when Daniele saved herself with the veto
Amber and Nick talk on the hammock about how campaigning will not help Joe; he’s annoyed too many of the HGs for far too long (AMEN!)
Part 2 of the Dustin/Joe blowup on the hammock
Dustin tells Nick he’s not lying to Joe about who he’s going to vote out and they are having a discussion later that night; later, in the hammock, Dustin says he did not try to get Jen to put Joe up in Dani’s place; Joe says he’s not “sugarcoating” then says Dustin’s strength is “direct lies” and Joe’s strength is “indirect lies” (sure wasn’t a strength for ya this week Joe!); Joe is blaming Dustin solely for his being put up this week (please God let Joe go this week, get him out of the house and off of Big Brother forever!); Dustin tells Joe that he had the opportunity to be honest with him and wasn’t, so when his name came up as a possible choice, he ran with it (you go Dustin! Yes!); Dustin says “there are two ways to play this game, strategic or personal, you chose personal.” Joe says he’s done manipulating and wants to possibly reconcile (HAHA) and says if he stays, he won’t come after Dustin anymore (sure Joe, right…he’s basically just trying to get Dustin’s vote…he even said “fu**in vote for me to stay beeyatch!); Joe pulls out the tears also and says it’s in Dustin’s best interest to keep him in the game (it IS?); Dustin said he tried to look at Joe as a new person but in the past 16 days he’s shown once again that he’s not worth his vote and Dustin says upfront “Joe I will not be voting for you to stay in this house”
Greatest line of this whole conversation:
Joe: Why did you even come over to this hammock and talk to me when you knew you weren’t giving me your vote?
Dustin (with a great tone of voice): Because you asked me to
Joe goes on and on again about how Big Brother was HIS dream and Dustin piggybacked on it and blah blah blah
Dustin tells Joe it’s his own behaviors that got him in the situation he’s in (exactly!)
Dustin tells Joe give him a strategic reason to keep him and Joe says he wants to air all his dirty laundry since they will never talk again outside of the house (if I were Dustin, I would have got up and walked away right then)
Joe: I don’t like you either but strategically we could have gotten far in this game (this is the only thing Joe said that actually holds merit strategically); Joe discusses the destruction of “The Six” alliance
Joe: Haha Dustin, I fu**ed you over in life, you fu**ed me over in a game (yeah and in front of millions of people Joe so who’s the winner?)
Joe: I’m sad for you because you have a hell of a two years after you get out of this house (poor Joe, he has NO idea that America loves Dustin and he’s actually the one that is going to have a hell of a comeuppance when he’s out of the house); Joe follows up with calling Dustin an old hag and says that in a couple of weeks, Dustin will go and that he has no chance to win the game
Dustin continues to say over and over again “I don’t trust you”
Joe: ‘You’ve become everything you’ve despised, congratulations!’ Then he gets out of the hammock and walks away (WHY does Dustin just sit and take this! There are SO many comebacks I would have had in this conversation that would have ripped Joe to shreds. I guess kudos to Dustin for taking the high road)
After the conversation, Dustin runs to Amber’s side and Joe runs to Nick’s LOL
Eric’s sleepwalking into Joe’s bed is discussed (Eric is denying it was him – good spin Eric!) Eric: If I was going to sleepwalk into someone’s bed, why would it have been yours? HAHA
