Dan Wins Big Brother 10 !
 Another Thursday, another eviction! Who was evicted tonight: Kail or Nick? What does Amber have to say about her crying? What was the aftermath of Nick’s nomination at the POV ceremony? How does Eric feel about America’s choices for him? What are Jen and Dick fighting about this week? What part did a glass of tea play in all of this? Finally, how did the HGs fair in tonight’s Time’s Up HOH Competition?

Nick’s Nomination: The Aftermath
Tonight’s episode begins with the obligatory review of everything that’s happened this week so far, including Tuesday’s POV ceremony and subsequent nomination of Nick. After the review, we are treated to the aftermath that followed. Nick says in the Diary Room that he wasn’t surprised, he knows he is seen as a threat later in the game. Kail felt blindsided since Dustin had assured her that Zach was getting backdoored this week, not Nick. She confronts Dustin on this in the HOH bedroom and Dustin just tells her it was a ‘house decision.’ (Well, not quite Dustin, it was a Late Night Crew (LNC) decision, not exactly the entire house LOL) Amber cries at the POV ceremony, cries in the DR and later cries to Nick saying she didn’t know he was going to put up (blatantly lying through the tears LOL). The episode hilariously intercuts Amber telling Dustin to put Nick up showing that the whole idea originated with her in the first place. Later, in a conversation with Dick and Eric on the patio, Nick demands to know why he was backdoored. As Eric is trying to offer an explanation, Zach comes out and Nick dismisses him, essentially telling him to go away. Zach feels horrible and says “I thought I was close to you dude.” Nick is mad that Daniele didn’t tell him he was going to be nominated and there is noticeable tension between the two. We also see Nick and Dustin’s confrontation after the POV ceremony. Nick tells Dustin “I realize it’s a game” but the tone of his voice shows he isn’t being very sportsman like about it! One thing that makes Nick happy is that once he’s nominated, Big Brother finally allows him to shave his head into a Mohawk, which he does in the HOH bathroom. Also shown is Nick starting his “I’m not campaigning for votes” campaign for votes with Amber in the Exercise Room (which I still think was hilarious!)
The Dick and Jen Tea Saga
Also in tonight’s episode we got to see the whole Dick and Jen tea incident which we showed you in a video blog earlier this week right after it happened! First in the segment we see Dick attacking Jen saying she used Jameka in the POV comp and ceremony to save her own butt without having to do it herself. Dick goes off calling Jen every name in the book (want to see the whole thing? Check out the video HERE.
In the bathroom after the incident, Jen tells Daniele “I feel sorry for you for having to deal with him all of your life” but Dani doesn’t exactly respond sympathetically to Jen’s plight with her father. In the DR, Daniele says she’s not impressed by Jen and basically feels like Jen deserved it.
Next we got to see the action chronicled in the second video of our video blog from earlier this week. Jen and Daniele get into it over Daniele giving Jen the cold shoulder (or was it the other way around? Oh well! LOL) Jen pulls out all the stops and calls out Dani for taking her current boyfriend away from a previous engagement and now cheating on him in the BB house with Nick. Dick and Nick come in from the patio during this altercation and Nick tells Jen to go away. Dick comes up behind Jen and pours his glass of iced tea on her head. Jen basically shrugs it off saying Dick is acting like a 12 year old.
America’s Player Campaigns
 We see in this episode that not surprisingly America still wants Kail gone and instructs Eric to gun for her. Eric is noticeably frustrated with America going against his strategy and putting him in the hot seat (it’s only going to get worse Eric!) Eric was originally gunning for Nick but once receiving America’s instruction, he switches gears and starts trash talking Kail. The other members of the LNC, though, are not buying into it and still want Nick gone. I will give it to Eric, though, he does try diligently with every task we give him! Also in the episode we see Eric having Dustin shave his hair into a fauxhawk after Nick gets his Mohawk. (I’m hoping this doesn’t last long LOL)
Diary Room Confessions
Before each commercial break, we got to see each person who is allowed to vote give their thoughts on who they want to vote for and who they want to stay. Here’s a breakdown of what each HG had to say: Amber is torn (imagine that) and really likes Nick but doesn’t want to go against the LNC’s wishes. She also hilariously says (WHILE CRYING!) “If I don’t get my crying under control, it may bite me in the butt later!” (Ya think Amber!) Dick wants Kail to go personally but Nick to go for Daniele’s sake both in the game and in her personal life. Daniele says she wants Kail to go (are we surprised? Well later you will be!) Zach says he’s more loyal to Nick than Kail (at least you can say one think about Zach, he’s loyal to a fault!) Jameka wants Nick to go so that Zach has no other allies in the house (well, he’d still kind of have Jen and Kail) and Jessica says she personally doesn’t like Kail at all. Strangely, they didn’t show Jen’s thoughts on the matter, I guess because it would be obvious that she’d keep Kail in the house over Nick.
Julie Talks to the House Guests and They Vote to Evict…
Julie talks to the HGs about various topics. (Funnily, the HGs never did do their shout out they’ve been talking about all week LOL) Julie asks about Nick’s Mohawk and Amber says she thinks Nick is hot no matter how his hair looks (I’ll agree there, Nick is nice to look at LOL). Next, Julie turns her attention to Jen and Dick. Jen basically says “whatever” to Dick’s actions this week and the tea incident saying “That’s just Dick being Dick.” When Julie asks Dick if he’d like to apologize, Dick says “Hell no, I just wish the glass had been more full!”
Next up, we have Julie’s private discussion with Dustin in the HOH bedroom. Dustin says he’s happy he took the prizes in the POV competition and has no regrets. He says at least he knows if he walked out of the house tomorrow, he’s got a vacation and $5000. He also says while he thinks Dick’s actions do normally go one step too far, they really aren’t directed towards him and have no effect on him (nice, Dustin!)
Back in the Living Room, Kail and Nick give their speeches to the other HGs. Kail goes on and on about appreciating every moment she has in the house and the friendships she’s made (this is hilarious given that 2 hours before the live show she asked for a Voluntary Exit but must have gotten talked out of it. Want to hear it? CLICK HERE . Nick gives his entire speech to Daniele saying that his game got sidetracked by her (BS!) and that she’s “the bee’s knees.”
After the speeches are completed, it’s time for the live vote in the DR! Here’s the order of each HGs votes: Jen votes for Nick, Zach votes for Kail, and Jameka votes for Nick. Eric’s America’s Player vote is for Kail and he tells America to target Kail and Jen one more time and he guarantees one of them will go next week (not if one of them gets HOH Eric LOL). Back to the voting: Jessica votes for Nick, Amber votes for Nick (and doesn’t shed a tear!), Dick votes for Nick and Daniele (HERE’S THE SHOCKER!) votes for Nick. Daniele chooses the LNC over her ‘friendship’ with Nick. Nick is evicted from the house by a 6 – 2 vote.
As Nick is hugging everyone goodbye, Amber is of course a sobbing mess (though she’s totally composed a few minutes later when the HOH comp begins LOL). Outside the house with Julie, Nick says that anything that happens with Daniele outside the house will be up to her and he thinks Jen was the second vote for Kail last week. Once Julie reveals the video of Eric exposing himself as America’s Player to Nick, Nick takes the whole thing very lightheartedly and thinks it’s a great BB twist!
In the final part of this segment, we see the HGs taped goodbye messages to Nick. Here’s how they went: Zach says he remained loyal to Nick to the end and wants to have a beer with him after the show. Kail said she was lied to and taken by surprise by Nick’s nomination. Dick says Nick will “sort of” be missed but he should have been up front about the “Mrs. Robinson” alliance from the beginning (anyone else feel like that alliance feels like forever ago now LOL). Amber sobs and (surprisingly!) admits she lied to him about not knowing he would be nominated (wow and she didn’t even have to come clean because of Nick being on the jury like will happen later in the game’s goodbye messages, I will give that one to Amber!). Finally, Daniele says that she was taken by surprise by her “strong friendship” with Nick and that he means more to her than he thinks she does.
HOH Competition: Time’s Up!
This week’s HOH Competition is an endurance challenge where all of the HGs (except Dustin, the outgoing HOH) hang upside down from pendulums attached to clocks that go back and forth. Instead of cuckoos, BB has provided fake crows, which fake poop with foam all over the HGs. The last person still hanging from their pendulum will win this week’s HOH competition! (SPOILER Update: After 2 hours, Jen, Kail and Daniele were the final 3 still hanging. Jen got disqualified and Kail and Daniele started talking. Dani said she would hang up there all night if need be. Kail jumps down and Daniele becomes our new HOH!)
