To Veto Or Not To Veto: Your Tuesday Episode Recap

brianHey MBBers!  It’s Dan, here with my first weekly Tuesday episode recap.  Since I now know that I will be your Tuesday Veto holder for the duration of Big Brother 10 rather than covering random episodes as I have in the past, I have some treats for you that you can expect every Tuesday after the show.  First of all, I’m going to give you my take on what happens on the show AS IT HAPPENS!  You’ll see my instant reactions and opinions in commentary that will appear throughout the article sure to make you smile : )

Each week To Veto Or Not To Veto will be separated into categories: Nomination Fallout which will discuss all of the goings on in the house following the announcement of that week’s two nominees.  Then we will of course have the Power of Veto Competition where rather than give you a play by play, I’ll tell you as much as I can of what happened while also giving you my opinions and commentary about the competition itself.  Next up I will give you the Veto Competition Fallout  where we will see how the House Guests react to the winner of the Power Of Veto and figure out who should be voted out next.  To end the episode recap, I’ll give you the results of the Power of Veto Ceremony and reveal who the two nominees are at the end of the ceremony.

As a special treat for my Tuesday articles, I’ll give you my House Guest with the Best Game Play and House Guest with the Worst Game Play based upon who I feel is playing the game best strategically and socially and who is on the other side of that coin!  To end my Tuesday article each week, I’ll give you my prediction of Who Is Going Home and my reasoning as to why!  I hope you enjoy To Veto or Not To Veto every Tuesday!

And don't forget to see what machinations Brian is up to as well as all of the goings on with the house guests, get your CBS.com Big Brother 10 Live Feeds today by clicking the button below!  You don't want to miss a minute!

Nomination Fallout

rennyJerry thinks Brian is loyal to the end.  Renny doesn’t think ‘the incident’ between herself and Jessie was worth being nominated over (like who else were they going to nominate on day 2 LOL) and calls Jessie “punk boy” in the DR.  Jerry goes into biblical analogies about his nominations that really make no sense whatsoever LOL  Renny goes on and on about how baby-ish Jessie is acting (pot, kettle Renny LOL).  Renny tells Jessie he’s no match for her as Jessie walks away rolling his eyes.

Jerry has a wine (whine?! LOL) party up in the HOH bedroom.  Renny apologizes to Jessie and then calls him a liar about her apology to him (I think he just forgot her original apology shown in flashback, I don’t think he was intentionally lying, just my take!).

Later, outside, Brian thinks that Renny will self destruct later in the game anyway, so he thinks it’s a perfect time to get Jessie out.  Brian thinks he’s the big mastermind controlling everything going on in the house so far.  Angie doesn’t seem amused with his machinations while playing pool.  Brian then goes to Memphis trying to form an alliance and Memphis also didn’t seem amused (boy you sure are in control Brian LOL).  Brian doesn’t think anyone will ever have the balls to put him up or vote him out (hmmm, something tells me he’s about to have his handed to him very soon HAHAHA).

After our first commercial break, we have the Ollie and April showmance beginning as Ollie asks if she would like it if he went around in his underwear.  April thinks they are soul mates (after knowing each other for two days!?)  Then, we quickly move to picking players for the Veto competition.

Power Of Veto Competiton

jessieAngie is chosen as host and Memphis, April and Michelle are chosen to join Jessie, Renny and Jerry to play for the veto.  I’ll spare you all the details of the comp rules but they had to crawl through honey and find “veto bears” in colored pillows and be the first to find five bears to win.  Renny has a lot of trouble with the honey and doesn’t seem too into the competition or trying to win it.

Jessie has a lot of trouble finding bears while Memphis and Michelle seem to take an early lead.  Jessie finally finds one and April finds two.  Renny looks like a bird with all the feathers from the pillows stuck to her because of the honey and she actually finds a bear as the other HGs cheer her on.  Jessie wins the Power of Veto (not Jerry as many sites including us previously reported!  Thank God the feeds are on full time now so we can get the spoilers from them and not rumors from here on out!)  As we go to our second commercial, Jerry is worried about who he should put up in Jessie’s place at the Veto Ceremony

Veto Competiton Fallout

libraBrian immediately goes into manipulation mode trying to get Memphis nominated in Jessie’s place.  Jerry buys it hook, line and sinker (I am really scared at Jerry’s ease at being manipulated and I think it will cause him problems later in the game).  Brian has a meeting in one of the bedrooms and thinks he’s controlling the women but the women are figuring things out!  April doesn’t believe Ollie is in an alliance with Brian and Dan (open your eyes soul mate girl).  Libra really isn’t amused with Brian trying to control her.

Later, Michelle, Angie and  Keesha have a discussion in the sauna (which seems to have been kept from BB9 LOL) about Brian and how they feel he is going to use people and then throw them away.  Libra has a discussion with April and April is ‘pissed’ at Ollie and goes for the confrontation (uh oh!)  Ollie doesn’t deny the alliance but claims he isn’t after the girls.  Libra says she knows it’s only a matter of time (ya think!)  Ollie figures out the girls are never going to go with the Brian alliance so he jumps ship and starts smack talking Brian telling the ladies to ‘flip’ on him (Ollie looking out for number one HAHA) and that brings us to commercial number three!

Coming back from commercial, Ollie reveals to Memphis that Brian is trying to have him backdoored.  In the bedroom, Libra sets a plan in place to get Jerry to backdoor Brian by all of the HGs approaching Jerry about it save for Brian and Dan (haha players getting PLAYED!) and then Ollie, Libra and Keesha begin getting everyone together for the “Jerry intervention” while Brian and Dan smoke cigs oblivious to the whole thing.

In the HOH bedroom, Ollie leads the intervention pretty much abandoning his day one alliance and everyone throws Brian under the bus.  Jerry isn’t receptive at first and isn’t believing what everyone is telling him about Brian (Jerry, you are too trusting of the wrong people and not trusting enough of the right people, I fear you are going to go down in flames out of the game in a few weeks because of this!) and we are now up to commercial number four!

Veto Ceremony

Jerry is not wearing anything military based because he has to go back on his word to Brian (who he STILL doesn’t see has been playing him all along!).  Renny again blames Jessie for their nominations but says she knows Jessie won’t use it on her anyway.

Jessie then uses the Power of Veto on himself and Jerry has to put up a replacement nominee.  In his speech, Jerry reveals that his alliance was betrayed and how the entire house is against Brian and wants him out.  Brian is then put up on the block!

Libra says of Brian: “He was a mystery, now he’s history!”  Brian says “the player got played” but thinks he still “has some tricks up his sleeve” (sure Brian, sure!!!)

So here are our nominees for eviction tomorrow:

House Guest with the Best Game Play

libraWithout a doubt, Libra!  Just like I said in my first impression of her, YOU GO GIRL!  Even though I had heard rumors she was in the alliance of Dan/Brian/Ollie (I think because of all the time she was with Ollie after Ollie turned against the alliance), I now see this woman really knows how to play this game!  She orchestrated the intervention of Jerry to get Brian put up in Jessie’s place and got the whole house on her side!  Libra knows how to work it!  I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!

House Guest with the Worst Game Play

brianBrian, who needs to learn cockyness gets you nowhere in the Big Brother game.  Just like Ollie told the girls, anyone who thinks they are going to create alliances and control the game in the first week is a fool.  Brian thinks he still has a chance this week.  It’s going to take a miracle for him to weasel his way out of the mess he himself created.

 Who Is Going Home?

Sorry Brian, Renny may be annoying but she’s not annoying enough to save you this week.  You tried to play everyone in the house and by trying to play Libra, you ultimately played yourself!

There's sure to be a lot of fallout from all of this on the CBS.com Big Brother 10 Live Feeds!  Get yours today and follow all the action 24/7!  I'll see you all next Tuesday for another edition of To Veto Or Not To Veto!
