Welcome to the half way point of Big Brother 10, MBBers! Believe it or not, we are almost through with week 6 of 12 (yes the season is one week shorter this Summer than the traditional 13 weeks) and as Jerry said so eloquently in the Diary Room “The second half of a hurricane is always the worst and that’s how it is going to be the second half of this game!” But is it really? Is the second half of this game going to be more crazy than the first? Something tells me it’s not. We’ve lost mouthy Libra, most likely will lose mouthy April and mouthy Jerry won’t be too far behind. We are now getting down to the nitty gritty and our calmer players who have been sitting back letting everyone else bury themselves in the first half of the game are now emerging to show us their game!
Renny is the first such player (even though she had a crazy first week, she’s been pretty calm ever since) and she seems to have let the power go to her head just a little bit this week. Comments like “nobody should consider themselves safe this week” are not going to bode well in the jury at the end of the game! Renny and Dan had a power meeting in which neither of them were willing to show their cards and Dan, Memphis and Keesha seem to be building a powerhouse alliance to take them to the end of the game.
Get ready for a rather predictable three weeks folks! Unless Michelle, Jerry or Ollie get HOH the next three weeks, they are all three going to go in sequential order! Pray for a double eviction week which should happen soon!
In this edition of To Veto Or Not To Veto, I will do my best to analyze how everyone’s game play is changing with the second half of the game! After all, it’s not just a smaller table we get at this point, it’s a whole new game! Fasten your seatbelts, get your CBS.com Super Pass Live Feeds and enjoy the ride!
Nomination Fallout
Renny lets us know that April is her target and April is ‘hurt’ by being nominated. Ollie is happy his plan worked and Jerry is up rather than himself (wow throw your girlfriend under the bus why don’t you Ollie!). Memphis and Dan are suspicious of Renny for not putting up Ollie and are determined to make sure April goes home this week. Ollie tells April he wants to win POV so that he can save her and himself this week (but you may not even get to play, Ollie!).
Keesha visits Renny in HOH and Renny says she likes Ollie and doesn’t want to see him up on the block this week (WHAT!?) and Renny says “people should not feel completely safe” (power trip much Renny!? HOH only lasts one week darling!). Jerry talks to himself in the bedroom basically interviewing himself like he would be in the Diary Room (Jerry, you are odd!).
Renny screams that it’s time to pick POV players and here we go (Dan tells us in DR no one wants Ollie to be picked!): Renny picks Dan, April picks Keesha (HAHAHAHAHA), and Jerry picks Ollie (so much for that plan!). Renny chooses Michelle as the hostess of the competition. April and Ollie are ecstatic that Ollie got picked to play. Ollie promises to do anything he can to save April and April says “cmon fate, fate, fate” (uh huh, just wait to see how that plays out April HAHA).
Keesha, Dan and Memphis are not happy that they are now in the position that any of them could go up if Ollie wins the POV. Memphis says in the DR he has now lost all of his trust in Renny for not putting up Ollie.
Power Of Veto Competiton
The HGs come outside to what appears to be a BB graveyard and Ollie is not liking the fake crows (I can relate, I am the same way about any bug that stings. I run just like he does LOL). Keesha could not put her hand in the box with the cockroaches (I couldn’t either!). The HGs play a game of Stay or Fold against each other for points. They have to guess the amount of certain items that are in the back yard for this competition (by the way, Michelle was PERFECT to host this in her creepy get up she was wearing LOL). Jerry gets the first point and Renny is eliminated. Jerry gets another point and April is eliminated. Jerry is told he needed one more point to win.
Dan tells us his strategy up to now had been to throw comps (ya think!) and now he could not afford to do so and had to fight to beat Jerry. Had Jerry stayed on the cockroach question, he would have won POV (wow that was CLOSE!). Dan gets the point and Keesha is eliminated. Dan reads the situation and is the only one that stays on the next question and automatically wins a point and ties Jerry. On the bed of nails question, Dan is closest and wins the Power of Veto.
Jerry is disappointed because he knows he could have won and threw the game away (it was a game of chance Jerry!). Dan tells us he might have to use the veto to get Ollie put up as he should have been in the first place.
Veto Competiton Fallout
April says she has to work on Dan now and Michelle says they both did a good job (they did!?). April is thinking about using her gold bars to bribe Dan but then if she does, Ollie goes up so they think of using the bars to win votes against Jerry (oh this should be interesting on Thursday! I totally forgot about those damned gold bars that April has!).
Jerry and Dan have a meeting in the Storage Room and Jerry takes the Judas comment off the table (can you really do that Jerry? LOL) and Jerry says he’s now alone and he hopes that he can count on Dan and Memphis this week.
Dan and Memphis (probably our final two) wonder whether Jerry or Ollie are more dangerous to leave on the block and are determined that they want Ollie out! Dan tells us he is not sure if it’s time yet to make a move (does anyone else wonder why Dan screams in the Diary Room? Dan, you have a microphone on! We can all hear you fine!).

Dan allows Renny to cut his hair since she’s a former hairstylist and Dan says a prayer that she does a good job. Dan gives her an A+ on her work and then the HGs discover that they are down to the smaller table (which will get even smaller when we get to the final four). Renny says the bigger table “was a bitch to dust” (I bet!).
April tries to work her charms on an oblivious Dan while he lounges in the pool. Dan tells her no one has offered him anything so far. She tells him that she and Ollie are not coming after him (yeah April your word means so much after you gave it to Michelle about not putting up Jessie, you biatch!). Dan tells her he needs to think about things and will get back to her (good job Dan!).

Dan goes to visit Renny to see who she would put up if he uses the veto. Renny says she has no deal with Ollie, she “likes Ollie!” Renny says she would look at Dan as a traitor if he uses the veto and she is not showing her cards and says “I don’t know who I would put up” and she assures Dan she trusts him (rather unconvincingly LOL).
Veto Ceremony
Jerry’s dream is for Dan to use the POV on him and he doesn’t expect it to be used on April. April also is not expecting for it to be used. Jerry says he takes on a street fighter mentality when things get heated and apologizes again for the Judas comment and tells Dan to use the veto as he sees fit. April respects being on the block (what!?) and doesn’t expect to have the veto used on her (she obviously thinks those gold bars are going to buy votes HAHAHA…I hope people take the bars and still vote her out, now that would be AWESOME!).
Dan does not use the Power of Veto. April tells us if she sees that her ideas aren’t working and it’s obvious that she’s leaving the house, she will “be a total bitch!” (Honey, that should not be a stretch! HAHA)
So our nominees remain:

House Guest with the Best Game Play
Memphis rocks at this game! Memphis is the ONLY one right now playing for jury votes, which ultimately is what wins you this game! Think about it, Memphis has Renny on his team, he’s got Keesha on his side now, he claims to Michelle that they have had an alliance since day one AND he and Dan have been courting Ollie for an “alliance” to occur after April leaves the house. That is FOUR jury votes right there and that’s all he needs to win if he’s up against Dan in the final two (which I think he will be). Dan and Memphis are playing very similar games but Dan’s week one alliance with Brian, Angie and Steven (who, by the way, are now like the 3 Muskateers on Big Brother radio shows all over the Internet, it’s cute : ) ) may haunt him all the way to the end of the game. There is a ‘feeling’ that Memphis has been on ‘the right team’ since the first day of the game which will help him in the end. Dan and Memphis both I believe have thrown HOHs as they do not want to make any enemies in the jury house. Their strategy is working, but I think it’s working for Memphis just the littlest bit better. Look for it all to come down to the Q&A from jury members if we have a Memphis/Dan final 2 and the winner will win by one vote! Watch for it!
House Guest with the Worst Game Play

Ollie has had no game up until now and now that he’s in danger he’s running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to save himself. It’s too late Ollie! You thought with the little head more than the big one for far too long in this game and you are just being carried at this point by Memphis and Dan for a vote until they are ready to cut you loose (Michelle, Ollie and Jerry are all in danger from our inevitable Final 4 Dan, Keesha, Renny and Memphis. It’s just a matter of who gets HOH each week to see which one of them goes over the next three weeks). Not only that, but Ollie threw April under the bus to try to save himself this week while telling April he has her best interest at heart. What a DAWG! Ollie, you have shamed your father and your hometown which you swore not to do in the first episode. Shame shame shame!
Who Is Going To The Jury House?

I don’t think all of the gold bars in the world are going to save April this week. She’s a goner. Hope she and Libra have fun together! : )
