To Veto Or Not To Veto: Week 2!

Hey MBBers!  It’s Dan, here with your weekly Tuesday To Veto Or Not To Veto update!  Tonight was an interesting episode!  Steven and Dan face the fallout of their nominations and both react VERY differently to the news!  The Power of Veto is played and in the fallout of that competition, Keesha makes some really stupid moves which cause all kinds of drama in the house.  In the end, tonight was not so much about who won the veto and whether or not it was played.  Tonight was more about how all of the other House Guests react to how other House Guests are playing and behaving in the house.

Enjoy the recap and I’ll be back next Tuesday with another edition of To Veto Or Not To Veto

Do you want to see the fights you see on Big Brother uncensored and uncut?  (Case in point, the Jerry and Libra fight was MUCH MUCH longer and drawn out on the feeds than was shown on tonight's episode!)  Well click the banner below to get your CBS.com 24/7 Big Brother 10 Live Feeds today!  You won't miss a minute of all the drama!

Read On for To Veto Or Not To Veto :)
Nomination Fallout

The episode begins with a flashback to the nomination ceremony.  Steven paid the price for not going up to Jessie’s HOH room.  Jessie doesn’t think he has a target on his back so far (getting way too cocky there, Jess!)  Dan strokes Jessie’s ego, trying to get him to align with him.  Jessie falls for it hook, line and sinker.

Angie talks to Steven and thinks she is in trouble too because of being close to Brian last week.  Steven isolates himself with his Bible for “inspiration”  in response to his nomination (which he pretty much asked for!)

Jessie and Michelle start a flirtation and joke about a showmance (NO! Not my favorite and least favorite player!!!  I am not going to like that at all LOL).  Jessie and Memphis continue their secret alliance.  Memphis wants Michelle and Angie to join them (wow, Memphis is saving Angie!).  Angie plays it cool, but she should count her lucky stars that Memphis saved her!

Keesha does not want Steven to be evicted this week.  She might use the Power of Veto on him if she wins it  (Keesha is beginning to wear on my nerves.  It doesn’t help all the comparisons to Daniele from Big Brother 8, who I also did not like LOL).  Later, we see that the ladies (Michelle, Libra and April) are seeing Keesha as a major floater and later Michelle talks to Memphis and Jessie and says pretty much the same thing.  The target has been placed on Keesha now by the “Memphis”  and “Libra” alliances.

Power Of Veto Competiton

Jessie draws Michelle, Dan gets House guest choice and picks Libra, Steven picks Keesha (wow, how coincidental!) and Jessie picks Jerry as the host for the Power of Veto competition.

Big Brother DMV is the name of the game this week.  Dan tells us in the DR that he is going to throw the competition.  The players have to unscramble license plates to sound out big brother terms and phrases.  Dan obviously throws the competition.  Jessie also loses, I am not too sure if he threw it.  Steven drops next.  Steven wishes and hopes that Keesha will win and save him.  A slop pass is offered, but if a player wins it, he or she are out of the competition.  Libra wants to win the slop pass LOL, however, she does not go for it for fear that Keesha will save Steven.  Libra later buzzes in but blanks out and she is out.  Keesha answers incorrectly and Michelle wins the Power of Veto.

Veto Competiton Fallout

Dan realizes that when you fight to stay in the house, it doesn’t get seen as good game play this season so he is going to sit back and let Steven fight and ultimately leave this week.

Keesha is being seen as a floater by both the Libra and Memphis alliances.  Steven advises Keesha that everyone knows and they think she will stab them in the back at a moment’s notice.  Keesha says she doesn’t care and they can kiss her ass LOL  Keesha, of course, goes into defensive mode and claims she would not have played the veto to save Steven (I think I’ve found my worst player of the week this week HAHA).

Later, Keesha talks to Memphis and Jessie and tries to turn the attention to Libra.  She wants Libra to be backdoored this week.  Oddly, Jessie and Memphis take the bait.  I can see why though.  Keesha is slowly burying herself and can wait for another day.  Libra is a power player and needs to be taken out sooner than later.

Next, Keesha continues her anti-Libra campaign with Renny and Jerry. It works because Libra and Jerry explode on each other.  Then Renny becomes part of this whole debacle.  It’s got something to do with Renny and Jerry being the oldest in the house.  Basically it’s a he said she said fight about nothing LOL

As you can see from the picture, Libra and Jerry quickly made peace.  Mission failed Keesha!

In the HOH room, Steven campaigns to backdoor Libra with Jessie.  Jessie says it is totally up to Michelle.  Steven pitches the deal to Michelle but Michelle doesn’t want to put a target on her back and says “someone on the block is telling me not to worry so I shouldn’t worry?” (smart, Michelle!  You annoy me, but you are smart!).  Steven even offers to stay on the block if he’s up against Libra (he’s really squirming, he knows he is in trouble).  Michelle is not sure what to do.

Veto Ceremony

Dan and Steven are unsure of their fate.  They do not know if Michelle will follow the backdoor Libra plan or leave both of them up.  Steven finally realizes his actions led to his nomination.  Michelle says it is foolish of her to use the veto this week and does not use it.

Our nominations stay the same:

House Guest with the Best Game Play

dan

Oddly enough, even though I still don’t like him, Dan!  Dan is very observant and has figured out the dynamics of the house.  He realizes fighting to stay in the game is not seen as positive in the house so he is going to sit back and let Steven bury himself this week.  In the meanwhile, Dan is weaseling his way into the “Memphis” alliance through Jessie, which could be his smartest move to repair the misstep from last week.

House Guest with the Worst Game Play
steven

It’s a TIE!  Steven made one of the dumbest moves ever by not going up to Jessie’s HOH room.  After supporting Brian the week before, doing that just made him stand out more to Jessie and was like wearing a sign that says “Nominate me!”

keesha

Keesha on the other hand has won the title “Miss Defensive!”  Every time the slightest thing gets said about her, she goes on the defense and flies off the handle.  This just makes her stand out in a game where she’s already being seen as a floater (which she is big time) and the whole debacle with Libra, Renny and Jerry is going to come back to haunt her when everyone realizes that was all set up by Keesha to deflect attention off of herself after her performance in the Power of Veto Competition.  Keesha is in major danger and will never make it to the end.

Who Is Going Home?

Steven, you are gone.  You basically asked to be nominated, then pouted about it, then tried to get Libra backdoored.  That’s not going to sit well with either the Libra or Memphis alliances.  Don’t let the door hit you in the butt on the way out and have fun at the rodeo!

See you all next week!  Have a fun eviction night tomorrow!
