Double the evictions, double the fireworks |
Tonight started with a promise of a double eviction from Julie and a recap of Dan's silly game during the veto nomination ceremony. We quickly got a view of the house turning against each other and accusing each of of being two-faced. Ollie flips out on Keesha, Memphis admits that they knew Ollie thought he was in control and points out to Ollie that he was indeed played. The whole time Dan hides in his head of household room like the chicken he is.
Ollie heads up and tells Dan straight out that he is in trouble as the next week comes. He then walks out and starts throwing plates in the kitchen and destroying stuff in the backyard. Michelle heads up and tells Dan that he has screwed her over. He tries to make up stupid reasons which she doesn't buy.
Julie tells the houseguests it is a double eviction and Ollie claps. The first vote occurs and by a tally of 3-to-1, Michelle is sent home.
After a quick goodbye and chat with Julie where Michelle predicts that Dan will be joining her soon, the next Head of Household competition began.
In this competition the houseguests have to answer questions the same way that America answered them. For every correct answer the houseguests receive one point. The houseguest with the most points after seven answers wins head of household.
After seven questions and some very slow answers from Ollie who was clearly thinking hard about his decisions, there was a tie between Jerry and Keesha. They had to answer a question about how many total lollipops were on the TABLE after the food competition. Jerry and Keesha both answer 100. The next question was wanting to know the total time in seconds would be from the winners of each heat in the last power of veto competition. Jerry says 320, Keesha says 500 and wins head of househould.
For the nomination ceremony Keesha nominates Ollie and Jerry...big surprise. And the Power of Veto ceremony began.
The houseguests must find two power of veto medallions from a bunch of haystacks...one at a time. The first person to return both wins the power of veto.
Dan finds both vetos first and wins Power of Veto. I think that poor Ollie needs ot quickly go and pack his bags. From the looks of it he thinks so too.
Not surprisingly Dan keeps the nominations the same and the voting begins. By a vote of 3-to-0, Ollie is sent to the jury house to join his sweetheart, April. Only he had to leave with drama. He stood up before Julie made the announcement and was out the door without shaking hands or giving hugs to anyone.
Back in the house Jerry, Memphis and Dan talk about how at this point of the game there are no "teams" or "sides". We shall see what the week holds!
Now that the show is over be sure you run out and sign up for the CBS.com Big Brother 10 24/7 Live Feeds so that you can see who becomes the next head of household and what Dan, Memphis, Keesha and Renny cook up this week!

Bye, bye April...or was it Jerry |
Tonight on Big Brother we got to say goodbye to one of the two house guests that many just love to hate. Renny's reign as head of household came to an end and because of her either April or Jerry went home and then we had a new head of household crowned.
At the beginning of tonight's episode we got to see how the house was torn between who to vote out. Keesha is definitely voting for April to get out of the house, but Michelle and Dan are torn. They know it is better for them personally to keep April in the house, but they are worried about making enemies with Keesha, April and Memphis by voting them out. At the first commercial break we do not know where either of them stand. April needs three votes, including Ollie's to stay in the house.
By a vote of 4 to 1 April is evicted from the Big Brother House.
The head of household competition gets underway and it is an endurance competition. The last person hanging on their "jungle vine" will be the next head of household. Of course they have nature to deal with. So far we have rain...who will win this endurance competition! Stay tuned or be sure to sign up for the CBS.com Big Brother 10 Live Feeds NOW too watch for yourself!!

At the beginning of the show tonight Jessie makes it clear that he is safe and April feels good that Jerry did not change the nominations. However, that good feeling doesn't last long once Keesha and Libra get together and gang up on her, making it known that they want Jessie out and if she doesn't change her mind then she is risking losing Libra and Keesha from her alliance.
After talking to Dan and Memphis April consults with Libra and decides that the best thing to do is secure four votes against Jessie and then they can shake up the house. They know they are two votes and that Renny will vote with them. The only "floater" they can trust is Dan so they go to him and he agrees to vote out Jessie. The girls are very excited. Angie is gone and the first endurance competition begins! |
After the power of veto ceremony, Angie states that she will do all she can to stay in the house and Jessie says he didn't even break a sweat because he believes Keesha when she says he is safe. Keesha thinks that the house will follow her plan to vote out Angie. Michelle is upset because both Angie and Jessie are her friends and two of the only people in the house she cares about.
Memphis and Jessie talk about how not winning the head of household or power of veto have sealed their fate and Memphis talks about getting Jerry out next week. Angie tells Jerry that he is going to have a tough time next week because he has no one to play the game with. Jerry tells her that nothing that has happened this week has been his choice and tells Angie that everyone in the house thought that Angie was controlling things. Memphis thinks that he is telling her that she still has a shot in the game and he goes up to the head of household room to tell Keesha and Jessie about their conversation.
